The Ball Hog is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog serialized manga published by Shogakukan. It is a pig-based robot model created by Dr. Eggman.[1]
Appearance[]
The Ball Hog is a large pink robot which resembles a real-life domestic pig, but is able to stand on two legs. It has two triangular ears on the head and a tan, thick snout. It has trotter hands and two mechanical feet. The Ball Hog's round belly is actually a door to a hollow compartment inside the Ball Hog which stores its bombs.[1]
History[]
Shogaku Ninensei[]
During his escape from Labyrinth Zone, Sonic encountered the Ball Hog, which proceeded to bombard him with bombs. However, Sonic quickly decapitated the robot with a flying stomp, only for the Ball Hog's disembodied head to self-destruct, blowing Sonic out of the area and into the nearby ocean.[1]
Powers and abilities[]
In addition to being able to easily store bombs, the Ball Hog can detonate its head to create a powerful explosion.[1]
