The Balkiry is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a mass-produced, bird-based Badnik variant created by Dr. Eggman.
History[]
Several Balkirys were sent out to prevent Sonic the Hedgehog and Miles "Tails" Prower from reaching the Wing Fortress. However, they would all be destroyed by the hedgehog.[1]
Powers and abilities[]
Balkirys can fly and attack downwards in straight patterns, making them strike their targets like a missile.
Trivia[]
- The Balkiry is based on the Badnik that first appeared in Sonic the Hedgehog 2.
