Backwater is a location that appears in the Sonic the Comic comic series and its spin-offs published by Fleetway Editions. It is a frontier town located in the Mobian Prairie.
Description[]
The mayor of Backwater was a crooked local businessman named Boss Krouch, until his death in an Apterix stampede that he caused in an attempt to murder his rival, Rooster.[1][2][3][4]
