The Babble Node is a translating device that was aptly named by Sonic.
History
After his adventure on Thoraxia, an alien race known as the D'Novulans implanted this device into his brain. Not only was this device was able to translate alien languages for Sonic, it also enabled him to understand the speaking of normal (non-Mobian) animals. (StH #127)
