The Awardy Award is an object that appears in the Sonic Boom series. It is an award handed out once a year to a resident on Seaside Island and in the surrounding areas.
Description
The actual Awardy Award is a golden bust of Mayor Fink with a rectangular footing. It is handed out once a year to an individual on Seaside Island and the surrounding areas, like Dr. Eggman's Lair, during an event known as the "Awardy Awards" to award those who have given exceptional services to the community. According to Amy, winning an Awardy Award is the honor of a lifetime.[1] The award is as well an unsurpassed symbol of accomplishment for the winner, possibly only second to the Prizey Prize.[2]
Nominees for the Awardy Award are determined by ballot votes. To receive the Awardy Award, the nominees must meet up at the Awardy Awards where the winner will be determined. If the nominees do not show up, they forfeit their chances.[1]
