Armorer Chao is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Chao that can increase their bonded individual's rewards.

Appearance

Armorer Chao have dark red pudding-like bodies with round, waterdrop-like heads. They also have round torsos that are smaller than their heads, smooth feet with no legs, and arms with no visible hands. In addition, neither their arms or feet have digits. They also have a floating yellow dot above their heads, yellow tips on their legs, arms and head points, pale bellies, short and round tails, and a small set of wings on their backs. For attire, they each wear a shiny gray welding helmet with a rectangular visor.

Overview

In Sonic Speed Simulator, Armorer Chao is a collectible pet of the "Legendary" rarity. It could be purchased at a display model near the starting point in Green Hill for 499 Robux on 9 July 2022. Alternatively, the player could buy five of them at once for 1,999 Robux at a display model in the same world. However, the option to purchase them was removed approximately a week afterwards.

In gameplay, Armorer Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, Armorer Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. The player can as well level up Armorer Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Armorer Chao will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can fuse a Armorer Chao by collecting five Armorer Chao, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Fusing a Armorer Chao will result in a singular fused Chao at level 1.

Powers and abilities

Armorer Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with.
