The Arid Sands Zone is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a desert Zone located in Midesta, close to Shamar.
History[]
On their way to find Ehsan to get his Gaia Key, Sonic, Antoine, Big, and Chip ran afoul with the Midesta Egg Army in the Arid Sands Zone until the Desert Raiders came to their aid. They later returned to this Zone to break the captured Ehsan out of the Egg Army's base.[1] Despite some complications, the united groups succeeded in their mission.[2]
