Despite Vector's apprehension, Argyle actually made him look bad, dancing with Lara-Su with skill superior to that of his father. Argyle was not erased from history when the timeline was altered, as Lara-Su tells King Sonic that they should hide in Argyle's place when they find the Prower siblings. Argyle becomes a Future Freedom Fighter in Sonic Universe #8 to combat a threat ascending to Angel Island.
- Argyle is possibly named after the Argyle diamond mine and/or Lake Argyle, which are both located in Australia. Coincidentally, Argyle's father, Vector, was born in Downunda, which is based on Australia.
