For a contest, Sonic the Hedgehog ran through Argentina while being chased by Knuckles the Echidna, who was after the meteor Sonic had. Knuckles managed obtain the meteor, running off with Sonic and the others in tow. Chris Thorndyke, Charmy Bee, and Cream the Rabbit, however, stayed behind when Chris noticed that a Chaos Emerald had fallen out of the meteor.
