Archie Sonic the Hedgehog Issue 117 is the one hundred and seventeenth issue of the main Sonic the Hedgehog comic book series published by Archie Comics.

Summary

Cyber Race!

Dr. Eggman and Snively escape from cyberspace and end up in new metal bodies.

The Tortoise and the Hedgehog

Sonic goes undercover as a rabbit to find his old friend, Tommy Turtle. He encounters the Fearsome Foursome, Sleuth "Doggy" Dawg and Drago Wolf with Tommy Turtle. Sonic sneaks into the vents with his disguise off and finds Dr. Eggman and Snively in their new bodies. Dr. Eggman uses his robotic touch to transforms Drago and the Fearsome Foursome into robots. Sleuth about to hand over Tommy to be roboticized is stopped by Sonic. Sonic uses Tommy's shell to escape from the place, but Sleuth before his roboticization throws a grenade. Tommy seeing the grenade throws Sonic out of a window to safety. Dr. Eggman and Snively are caught in the explosion, along with the robots and presumably Tommy.

Ultimate Power - Part Three

Knuckles and the Chaotix arrive at the hospital, under the request of Constable Remington to heal Harry. Knuckles teleports himself to Mammoth Mogul's secret base, where he has Dimitri hostage. Mammoth Mogul has Knuckles press the button to finally destroy Dimitri...

Trivia

  • Dr. Eggman and Snively have robotic bodies in the first story, but lose them in the second.
  • Sonic's undercover name, Juice, could be traced back to the episode "Blast to The Past Part 1" in the SatAM TV series, as Sonic introduced himself as "Juice" when meeting his younger self.
  • The name of the second story is based on the name of the fable "The Tortoise and the Hare."
