Synopsis[]
The issue begins with Sonic and Sally practice-sparring, but Sally isn't paying attention. She explains that she's been thinking about the orb that fell from the sky and the death of Julayla, her mentor. Rosie comes in and asks Sally examine the estate Julayla left her. Sally finds three items in a chest: a blue vest, a picture of her father, and a map. Later that night, the same orb that fell out of the sky glows and wakes Sally. Sally approaches the orb, and it turns out to be a special computer named Nicole with a mind of its own. The Freedom Fighters come to Sally to see if anything is wrong. Sonic asks her who she's been talking too. Sally shows Sonic Nicole and he shakes it, causing Nicole to zap Sonic. Sonic says the machine is not worth the trouble, but Sally refuses, saying everyone needs a friend.
The next day, Sally prepares to follow the map alone with Nicole and a Sling-shot in her vest. Before she can get far, the Freedom Fighters confront Sally and insist on going with her. Despite the map leading them to the Forbidden Zone, Sally lets them come. They parachute on the border of the Zone, which is guarded by SWATbots. Once they are spotted, Sally blinds the bots with paintballs while Sonic shreds them. The Freedom Fighters enter the Forbidden Zone, to which the SWATbots stop shooting at them. After grapple-hooking over a wall and going through a tunnel, they come face-to-face with a robotic cyclops. Sonic tries to destroy it to no avail. Sally turns to Nicole for advice and it explains the cyclops only responds to motion. Sonic decides to stand still for a while, putting the robot into stand-by mode.
Next, they are attacked by a fire-breathing griffon. Tails tries to face it himself since he can fly, but is knocked aside. Tails then finds a sword with a placard saying "Whosoever pulls the sword from this stone shall best the BEAST". Tails, with some difficulty, pulls the sword out of the stone, stopping the griffin in it's tracks. Nicole explains by Tails pulling the sword out, the circuit that granted the griffin mobility was broken. Sally thanks Tails, but asks him to look before he leaps next time.
Finally, they meet a two-headed dragon, guarding two different doors. Nicole explains to Sally that the beast is known as the Polysaurus Rex, a monster that has a head that lies, and another head that tells the truth (though it is unknown which head is which). One of the doors behind them leads to the end of their quest, while the other would lead to certain doom. Sally asks the left head which door the right head would say is the correct path. The left head tells her he would send her through the left door. Before Sonic goes through the left door, Sally says they are going through the door on the right. She reasons that if the left head tells the truth he would tell her the wrong door because the right head lies, and if he lied he would tell her the wrong door anyway.
Sally turns out to be right as they reach the treasure room, which contains a chest with a scroll. The present Sally doesn't understand it's meaning, but a future version of Sally explains the significance of it. Twenty years later, Sally is queen of Mobius, along with her king, Sonic. The other Freedom Fighters have grown old and Mobius is in peace. King Max has returned, and Sonic and Sally have two children. Future explains the quest Julayla left her was to grant her oneness of the soul. With faith in herself, the war with Robotnik was won by the Freedom Fighters and she won the heart of Sonic. Nicole was destroyed in the final battle, so Rotor recreated Nicole and they sent in back in time to aid Sally and her friends on their quest to defeating Dr. Ivo Robotnik. Sally looks over the kingdom reflecting on Julayla's six words she left her: "To thine own self be true".

Synopsis[]
Tails is on his way to deliver a speech at the Sonic-Con convention. As he brags about being a hero-type, a frog scares him and he falls into a creek. He arrives to find Sonic Fan Club HQ packed and meets Sheldon, the president of the convention, and Posey, a possum whom is the "resident Sonic expert". Posey takes him to a podium for a speech, but Tails forgot to make one. Tails ends up telling a fake story about how he fought a robot named Toadzilla. Once the story is over, he notices the audience is looking outside.
Robotnik arrives to crash the con and Roboticize everyone. Posey pushes Tails to fight off Robotnik, and he tells him off. While he is distracted with his thoughts, Robotnik uses his machine to slap Tails out of the way. While Tails recovers, Posey bravely demands Robotnik leave them alone. Robotnik nearly squashes her with his robot's foot, but Tails flies up and distracts Robotnik. Tails forces his tails to remain in place while his body spins instead. This makes Robotnik dizzy, and he and his robot fall over since he can't control the controls. Robotnik flies away on his Egg-O-Matic to rest. Posey rewards Tails with a kiss for his bravery, and they return to the convention.
