Not to be confused with Amy Rose (Mirror Dimension).

Amy Rose is a character that appears in the Sonic Boom series. She is Amy Rose's counterpart from an alternate dimension where Sonic never existed. She is also a member of the Rebellion, a resistance group that opposes the rule of Lord Eggman.

Appearance[]

Amy is essentially a doppelganger of her Sonic Boom World counterpart. As such, she is a pink-furred and thin anthropomorphic hedgehog with green eyes and peach skin covering her muzzle, inner ears, and arms. She has a small black nose, triangular ears on top of her head, and no back spines. She also has two medium-length eyelashes on each side of her eyes. Additionally, her five short head quills point downwards, somewhat resembling a bob cut. She also has three spikes for bangs on her head, and a short tail. For attire, Amy wears both a cerise hairband and a cerise minidress with a white collar, yellow buttons on the her left side, and a lavender sarashi around her waist. She also wears white gloves, purple sports tape and golden ring bracelets around her wrists, purple stockings, and dark-pink/violet shoes with light pink soles and toes, gray straps, and pink plates with two yellow buttons on top.

History[]

TV series[]

Past[]

At some point, Amy joined the Rebellion, a resistance group that opposed Lord Eggman's rule over Seaside Island.[1]

Season two[]

In Hedgehog Village, Amy gave Sonic, a stranger from another dimension, a hostile reception when he greeted her before hiding from Lord Eggman when he arrived. Seeing Sonic stand up to Eggman, Amy freed him when he got thrown in jail and took him to the Rebellion's leader, Sticks. When Sonic agreed to help, Amy joined his crew to bring an end to Lord Eggman's rule, but was skeptical when Sonic recruited Knuckles the Echidna as well. Afterward, the team went to attack Eggman.[1]

At Lord Eggman's Lair, Amy and co. found Sonic's supposed best friend, Miles "Tails" Prower, who was working for Lord Eggman. Amy would then have to fend off Eggman's Badniks after Tails alerted Eggman. After Sonic got Tails to join the team though, Amy and her crew defeated Eggman for the very first time. Amy later said goodbye to Sonic, who was sure she could end Eggman's rule with her new team soon, when he returned to his own dimension.[1]

Personality[]

Amy is a bit apprehensive when it comes to strangers, like when she threatened Sonic with her hammer when he casually greeted during their first meeting. She is also careful about who she picks a fight with when without backup, like when she hid when Lord Eggman, her sworn enemy, came her way. Nonetheless, Amy has a strong sense of justice and is devoted to fighting the oppressive rule of Lord Eggman. Like her Sonic Boom World counterpart, she is also sensible and level-headed.[1]

Powers and abilities[]

Like her Sonic Boom World counterpart, Amy is a decent fighter with a hammer.[1]

Weapons[]

Like her Sonic Boom World counterpart, Amy wields her own version of Amy's Hammer, a large pink and yellow hammer capable of dealing massive damage with no excessive efforts. As demonstrated so far, this hammer is powerful enough to smash a brick wall or a Scorpion Bot with a single hit.[1]
