Amy Rose is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. She is the alternate version of Amy Rose from the In Another Time, In Another Place Zone.

Appearance[]

Amy is identical in appearance and standard wardrobe to her Prime Zone counterpart. As such, she is a pink-furred hedgehog with green eyes and peach skin on her muzzle and arms. She has a small black nose and no back spines. Additionally, her five short head quills point downwards, somewhat resembling a bob cut. She also has three spikes for bangs on her head, and a short tail.

For attire, she wears a red, sleeveless, backless dress with white trim, tall red boots with a white stripe down the center and white cuffs, a red hairband, and white wrist-length gloves with gold bracelets for cuffs.

During the Olympic games, she wore a rose minidress similar to her normal dress, but with white shoulder straps, with the addition of black shorts underneath it; and rose sport shoes with white stripes, white cuffs, white shoelaces caught on yellow triangular hooked eyelets, and gray soles. She also wears white wrist-length gloves along with rose wristbands with a single white stripe.

Sonic Saves Amy ATAP

Sonic rescues Amy after defeating Metal Sonic, from Sonic Super Special Magazine #3.

When she was younger, Amy was kidnapped by Dr. Eggman's robot, Metal Sonic, and was held prisoner on the Little Planet. She was soon rescued by Sonic after he had outraced the robotic doppelganger.[1]

Sonic Generations[]

Much later, Amy appeared as one of the many guests attending Sonic's birthday party, all of which would end up being kidnapped and scattered through time by the mysterious Time Eater using the Time Holes.[2]

Olympic Trials[]

Amy would next be seen competing at the Olympic Games, going up against Blaze the Cat and Rouge the Bat in a hurdle race, which was ended abruptly when Eggman sprung his trap: transportation gates that the hurdles had been rigged with. Amy spent the rest of the events imprisoned in a Capsule with Sonic's other friends, until Sonic successfully defeated Metal Sonic in all of the events and rescued them.[3]
