- You may be looking for a different Challenge Act, Topsy-Turvy.
Amy: Topsy Turvy is the fifth and final Challenge Act of Sky Sanctuary Act 1 in the console/PC version of Sonic Generations. It is unlocked after clearing every Stage in the classic era and is playable only as Classic Sonic.
In this Challenge Act, Classic Sonic must race Amy Rose to the Goal Post. However, Amy does not simply run; instead, she swings her Piko Piko Hammer about her, using her weapon to fly over and around obstacles. The player is provided with Spinning Tops along the way, which must be used to pass some obstacles. Once the player passes the Goal Post before Amy, the Challenge Act is completed.
The race arena takes place inside a modified version of the ruins of Sky Sanctuary Act 1. The Act has floating columns that function as obstacles. During the Act, iron balls can be found floating in midair as damage-inflicting obstacles.
The player starts the Act on a Spinning Top with Amy behind them. The first section is curvy with Rings acting as the player's guide along the path. The player can either go up or down along this section before dropping down into a small passage. From there, the path splits, but will eventually merge back together and lead to the highest point on the route where the Warp Point is.
Upon entering the second section, the player must proceed forward to find another Spinning Top and use it to go up. Take noticed though that the top section is wavy and is littered with iron balls. Eventually, the Goal Ring can be located at the highest point of this section.
- The move Amy uses to fly resembles the Propeller Hammer from Sonic Heroes, except she does not leave a trail of hearts.
- Strangely, in case Sonic slows down a little before the final section and onward, Amy will proceed very slowly as well.
- When going to Amy after completing this act as Classic Sonic, Amy will respond, "Wow, you sure don't mess around! I'll have to try harder the next time, I guess."
