Alpha Grim Birdie, also known as Grim Birdie, or Grim Birdie Alpha, is a character that appears in the Sonic Prime television series. It is a robot built in the image of Birdie, used by Nine to combat Sonic and Shadow in the Grim.
Appearance[]
Alpha Grim Birdie generally resembles a modified version of a Birdie build similar to the style of Chaos Sonic, possessing a similar build, but with notable differences. Grim Birdie's size is larger than her usual size noticeably more pronounced, a vent is featured in its chest, and its legs and wings are really large to identify Birdie's flight. Grim Birdie also features a similar coloration compared to Alpha Grim Sonic, featuring dark red and gold plating, with glowing red eyes and lights. Temporarily, Alpha Grim Birdie had a scar on its right eye.

Season 3[]
Alpha Grim Birdie was deployed in The Grim by Nine, who ordered it to stop Sonic the Hedgehog and Shadow the Hedgehog once Alpha Grim Sonic was being overmatched. Alpha Grim Birdie silently obeyed, charging at the hedgehogs and attacking them repeatedly with its strength. After Shadow helped Sonic escaped the Grim, Nine cloned Grim Birdie using Prism Energy and sent them to bring Sonic back. After the Birdie Troopers were destroyed by Sonic and the Chaos Council, Nine cloned Grim Birdie once again and sent them to No Place to capture the pirates, and further ordered them to ensure Sonic wouldn't leave the Shatterspace. However, the Troopers were once again destroyed, while the Alpha reported back to the Grim. Later, Grim Birdie was then deployed again in "Home Sick Home," along with the other Grim Alphas to fight Sonic and the Shades. Its' last moment was in "The Devil is in the Tails," when it was attacking Sails and Mangey (who were piloting Grim Big) before being bombarded and destroyed by Froggy Bombs.
Powers and abilities[]
Alpha Grim Birdie sports most of the abilities of Birdie. As a robot built in the image of Birdie, Alpha Grim Birdie has enhanced strength and is skilled Flight. Grim Birdie has a degree of durability, being able to easily withstand punches from Shadow and Sonic, getting its right eye scarred by one of the void’s floating shard, and all of the Chaos Council’s technology. Grim Birdie can also shoot lasers out of its beak.
Personality[]
Seemingly, Alpha Grim Birdie has very little personality, due to being only made to be an obedient servant to Nine, never talking, and only showing emotion through its eyes. However, it does still display fear.
