The Alphas are a group that appears in the Sonic Prime television series. They were a set of advanced robot copies created by Nine to lead the Grim Troopers into battle. Each Alpha was formed from Prism Energy, and was modeled after one of Sonic's friends in an attempt to "replace" them.[1]

Once Sonic and Shadow arrived at The Grim, Nine would just finish creating the Alphas and commands Alpha Grim Sonic to fight the two hedgehogs. After Alpha Grim Sonic is defeated, he sends Grim Rouge, Grim Birdie, Grim Knuckles, and Grim Amy to help him until Shadow defeated by the Alphas.[1] Soon after, Nine would create the Grim Troopers to attack the hero's which not to long the hero's figure out how to eliminate the Grim Troopers by taking out the Alphas.[2] First, Alpha Grim Birdie is destroyed by Mangey and Sails (both of whom were piloting Grim Big) by launching Froggy Bombs, then Alpha Grim Rouge was destroyed by Thorn Rose and the Scavengers, soon after, Alpha Grim Knuckles was destroyed by Catfish, then Alpha Grim Amy would be taken out by Rusty Rose (and would have its' hammer taken by Rusty) and finally, Alpha Grim Sonic is later destroyed by Shadow at the top of the Citadel.[2]
Trivia[]
- Grim Rouge and Grim Birdie are the only Alphas who were addressed by name, with Grim Birdie being addressed by Nine, and Grim Rouge being addressed by Rebel.
