Albert Butler (known as Alfred Butler in Japanese) is a character that appears in the anime series Sonic X. He is the groundskeeper of Station Square's baseball stadium Diamond Stadium.
History

Albert has been the groundskeeper at Diamond Stadium for over thirty years (eight years in the original), but the owner of the stadium, Elmer Johnson, plans to demolish it and replace it with a new indoor stadium, and Albert worries he will be out of a job. At some point, Albert came into possession of one of the Chaos Emeralds. Tails is drawn to the stadium by the energy signature of Albert's emerald and the two become friends. Doctor Eggman shows up and steals the emerald, but a baseball game between Sonic (and his friends) and the doctor's team of E-21 Ballios breaks out with Albert watching from the sidelines.
