Akinori Nishiyama (西山 彰則 Nishiyama Akinori?) is a Sega employee that has been involved with the company since the Master System era and has undertaken a variety of roles. Nishiyama was originally a test player (usually credited as Work Nishi) whose first title was the original Phantasy Star. He may also have been known variably as Chiemushi and Locky P.

He later then served as Director for the majority of Sonic the Hedgehog series titles released for the Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS.

He served as the head for Sonic Team between Yuji Naka's resignation in 2006 and Takashi Iizuka's assignment to the role in 2010. Afterwards, he was appointed as the general manager for titles from Sega.
