In the [[Wii]] version of the game, the player must swim to a giant glass dome with a lever inside. He/she will be followed by homing torpedoes, which must be used to break open the dome. Also, sometimes the white homing torpedoes have a [[Yellow Wisp]] inside them, which will be useful for the fight with Admiral Jelly. When the switch is activated, the player then faces Admiral Jelly. Admiral Jelly arrives with a bunch of pirates, and when he spins to the side, the player can use that time to destroy the pirates, and hit the Admiral when he is standing still. Admiral Jelly requires a maximum of three times to destroy him. If the player uses a Yellow Wisp from the torpedoes on the ship, the player can deal double damage. The only difference is that once the wisp is activated, Jelly will bolt off in a random direction at full speed, thus making it harder to hit him in drill mode, but a red arrow will point towards his direction, making it easier to find him. The player must reach the end of the submarine to a giant glass dome encasing a lever switch inside while guiding the homing torpedoes homing on Sonic to break open the dome. There are large upwards-moving torpedoes that let the player stand on them without dealing any damage to the player but these torpedoes will destroy the small homing torpedoes upon contact. If the homing torpedoes hit any of the smaller round glass domes, they will break open and release [[Ring]]s, though if a specific white torpedo breaks into a glass dome, a [[Yellow Wisp]] will be granted to the player. When the switch is activated, the player then faces Admiral Jelly alongside a crew of sailors from his sub. The crewmates cannot deal any damage to Sonic but they can be attacked to gain points and spawn a [[White Wisp]] which fuels the player's [[Boost Gauge]]. Admiral Jelly attacks by spinning to the side while moving around the stage for a short while; the player can use that time to destroy the pirates, and hit the Admiral when he is standing still, looking around with his periscope and speaking some robot gibberish while he is vulnerable.   • Used only when his health is low, Admiral Jelly will descend below the platform while the two pirate minions move to the opposite ends of the platform to generate eletricity-like fins that move towards the other end of the platform. The player must jump over them to avoid them. Meanwhile, Admiral Jelly will emerge from below until he is high above the platform and will dive at the player with a spinning attack. Jumping off the platform to avoid the fins is not advisable as the player will not be able to avoid Admiral's attack aimed at that end of the platform. After attacking this way though, Admiral Jelly's head is then vulnerable allowing the player to damage him.

The player must hit Admiral Jelly until his health is nearly depleted, then hit his head once more to destroy him and end the fight.
