3437 Post Xorda Event, abbreviated as P.X.E.,[1] is a location in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It was the post-apocalyptic era two hundred years into Mobius' future and the home era of Silver the Hedgehog. The ruin that this future was in was brought about by the actions of an alleged "traitor" to the Knothole Freedom Fighters in the past.
History[]
Due to the supposed treachery of one of the legendary Freedom Fighters, the entire team was destroyed and, without them, the future was doomed. Because of the dire state of the world brought about by devastation from Dr. Eggman and the rise of Ixis Naugus' Ixis Resurgence, Silver repeatedly travels through time attempting to find the apparent traitor among the Freedom Fighters and prevent whatever events lead to the ruined future. Despite Silver's efforts, it has been seen that even when he succeeds in preventing some form of disaster in the past, 3437's present remains ruined, and thus he believes that the traitor is the most important factor. In the timeline in which the world was destroyed by Tikhaos, Silver described his world as having "Pockets of civilization struggling against a global sea that seems to have a grudge." It seems that most civilizations have been destroyed; many cities appear as empty ruins and the Space Colony ARK at some point had crashed into the planet, remaining a long-burning husk. Records of the past are scarce and subject to change due to Silver's efforts to rewrite history.[2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10]
In another timeline, Silver's future somehow became ensnared in mechanical vines (possibly a result the Great Krudzu Spore). Silver would destroy the root of the Great Krudzu Spore at some point, although due to becoming de-synced from time, he would not remember the event.[11][6]
Silver was eventually able to determine that his future's circumstances came about because of Sally Acorn undergoing Roboticization and becoming Mecha Sally. However, he also determined that the gap between the two time periods led to many details-such as the fact that Sally's acts against the Freedom Fighters were not of her own volition-being lost. As such, the enslaved princess was labeled as a "traitor" by history, and even her identity was forgotten in the resulting damage done to Mobius. With this in mind, Silver set out to rescue Sally, hoping that if he prevented the actions she had committed as Mecha Sally in his past, it might reshape the future. Aiding Team Fighters, Silver successfully stopped Mecha Sally, seconds before the activation of the second Genesis Wave.[12]
- Note: From this point, 3437 P.X.E.'s history continues from its new existence in the altered timeline.

Trivia[]
- Silver's future has been featured in the games, but-as in the comics-is constantly in flux due to Silver's time-traveling adventures.
- Various hints have been presented that in this time period-or at least, in one version of it-versions of the Future Freedom Fighters existed at some point in the past. These include:
- Edmund noting that Prelate-V reminded him of his father, suggesting that a version of Argyle was his father and Lara-Su presumably his mother.
- A painting in Edmund's library of the Future Freedom Fighters team, excluding King Sonic.
- A massive statue of Lara-Su, as well as references by Edmund to his mother-presumably Lara-and grandfather-presumably Knuckles-when speaking about the challenges of being a Guardian.
- This future is confirmed to be the future of Mobius Prime, according to Sonic the Hedgehog: The Complete Sonic Comic Encyclopedia.
- Silver has said that there are only a small amount of survivors in his future.[13]
