Portal 3-4 or just 3-4, is a Cyber Space stage in Sonic Frontiers. It is the fourth Cyber Space stage in Chaos Island, and the eighteenth one overall.

Description

3-4 is a location in Cyber Space inspired by Green Hill, based on the specific depiction from Sonic Generations. Being part of the Cyber Space, it is a rather incomplete, fragmented version of Green Hill at daytime.

Portal location

In Chaos Island, the entrance Portal to the Cyber Space stage is located to the north of the mountain with the Spider boss on the main island.

Gameplay

3-4 is an 2.5D stage that takes place entirely on Grind Rails, with the exception of the platforms at the end where the Portal Gate is located. There are no enemies in this stage, however, there are a lot of hazards, such as laser fields, bottomless pits and Iron balls. There are also no Star Posts in this stage.

Overview

3-4 starts out on Grind Rails, having multiple paths to choose from. There are no dangerous hazards until Sonic turns around. There, Sonic will have to dodge the laser fields, which are scattered all across this section. After it, the player will have to go forward until they a loop that will lead them into the another dangerous section, this time full of spikes.

After that section is finished too, Sonic will turn around again and go into a corkscrew, which will lead him into the Portal Gate.

Red Star Ring locations

• Jump off the rail before it curves downwards a second time and land on the short rail, where the first ring is.
• About halfway up past the end of the series of horizontal lasers.
• Immediately after taking the Dash Rings, land on each one carefully to obtain this ring.
• Take the spring at the end of the rail on the left. At the end of the next rail, jump over the next spring to the rail ahead.
• Instead of taking the sideways spring at the end of the rail, jump onto the Dash Rings in front of the iron balls. Stay on this section, ignoring the springs, to get this ring.
