However, the game is given a selection menu for the different titles it contains. When booting up 2 Games in 1: Sonic Pinball Party & Sonic Battle, the game's selection menu is displayed. The control of the selection menu is done with : by pressing up or down, the player can select the different games.
When the player uses the reset function when either Sonic Pinball Party or Sonic Battle has been selected (by holding + + Select + Start), they will get kicked back to the title screen of either game. The only way to return to the game select menu would be to power cycle the system.
