The games in 2 Games in 1: Sonic Pinball Party & Columns Crown themselves are nearly identical to those that were originally released. However, the game is given a selection menu for the different titles it contains. When booting up Sonic Pinball Party & Columns Crown, the game's selection menu is displayed. The control of the selection menu is done with : by pressing up or down, the player can select the different games.
Depending on the game loaded, they will each have different results when the player resets the game (by holding + + Select + Start), regardless of the Game Pak each game is being played on.
If Sonic Advance is loaded, the player will get kicked back to the game select screen.
Columns Crown has no reset function. In this case, the only way to get back to the game select screen would be to power cycle the system.
