Portal 1-4 or just 1-4, is a Cyber Space stage in Sonic Frontiers. It is the fourth Cyber Space stage in Kronos Island, and the fourth one overall.

Description[]

Main article: Green Hill

1-4 is a location in Cyber Space, being based on the specific depiction of the Green Hill Zone from the console/PC version of Sonic Generations. This stage also incorporates elements from the Green Hill Zone previously seen in 1-1. Being a part of Cyber Space, this stage is a rather fragmented, incomplete version of Green Hill Zone set at sunset.

Portal location[]

An entrance Portal to 1-4 is located near close to the radio tower in the eastern coast of the Kronos Island. It is also relatively close from the Portal leading to 1-3 to the north. Only a single Portal Gear is required to activate the Portal and gain access to the stage.

Gameplay[]

1-4 is a normal stage with primary gimmicks, with its notable obstacles being the Badniks and the bottomless pits that are all across the stage.

Overview[]

When starting the stage, the player has to go straight forward, then turn left. There, they will find a few Dash Panels. If Sonic used them, the player can either boost their way above the pit or go through it. Jump into the Wide spring and reach the next section. Here, the player will find two Moto Bugs. Defeat them and then turn right. Here, Sonic can take two paths, with the upper one being faster, however, both of them will result into a Grinding section. After the player finish that section, they have to go through a loop.

After going through the loop, Sonic will get a checkpoint and use the ramps to reach the other Grinding section, which will end with Sonic going through some Dash Rings. Go straight forward after reaching the second checkpoint until the player will reach the bridge. Here, the player can either go into the upper section, in which they will get through a loop and use the Springs, or go into the lower one, which is accessed by stomping into the bridge, and use the Grind Rail. Either way, Sonic will have to go through the giant ramp and go straight forward in order to reach the Portal Gate.
