Ian Flynn, aussi connu sur internet sous le nom de BumbleKing est un écrivain travaillant pour les bandes dessinée (comics) d'Archie Comics, Sega of America, et IDW Publishing. Il est écrivain de nombreux tomes des bandes dessinée Sonic the Hedgehog et ses spin-offs, d'Archie tout comme d'IDW Publishing.
Il est devenu écrivain en chef de la série Sonic the Hedgehog d'Archie Comics en 2006 jusqu'à la fin de la série en 2017. Il a aussi écrit pour deux épisode de la saison final de la série télévisée Sonic Boom, plusieurs bandes dessinées présentant les jeux vidéos de la série de jeux vidéo Sonic the Hedgehog, aussi écrivain pour Sonic the Hedgehog Encyclo-speed-ia et le jeu vidéo et les dialogues de Sonic Frontiers et autres jeux vidéo de la saga.
