So the first trailer is telling us that Team Sonic is working with Robotnik to stop Shadow but trailer 2 is saying that Robotnik and Gerald are working with Shadow. My guesses are either that Eggman is working with Shadow without Team Sonic knowing or he ends up joining/leaving Shadow at some point.
