In his trivia page, it says that in episode 52 a small tear can be seen forming in his right eye. However, I never recalled seeing that in either version NA or JP, and I re-watched the clip multiple times to confirm this, and, sure enough, I couldn't see anything to save my life. Maybe I'm missing something, but I'm 99% sure there isn't anything there. So, should that part be deleted?
What's on your mind?

Wiki Issues/Changes
Okay, every day i wake up in the morning, brush my teeth, change my clothes, eat breakfast, and go to work. When I come home i usually have social time on my Computer, i search up "Sonic News Network Fandom" to go onto the wiki and have some social time. But every time I scroll down to look for the wiki, i see some videos and stuff saying like "Why the Sonic Fandom sucks" or "The Sonic Fandom is toxic" I don't understand, is this wiki hated? because i met a lot of nice people here and we like to just do fun stuff, i don't really understand why people hate this Fanbase. Does anyone know why?
Just Updated
Are we gonna do the same thing we did two months a go for December or does the other SNN staff already have something in mind for December?
We got about two weeks to go until December, I figure we better get ready for it. Though if I may suggest, this time Winter theme?
Here are some important things to remember:
Our theme should be implemented on ecember 1st, 00:00 UTC. This is not a hard deadline, but we should aim to have it ready by this time. The wiki's theme will revert to normal on January 2nd, 00:00 UTC.
The wiki's background file size is 1900 x 1000
The Community header background file should be 471 x 115 or lower
The wiki's wordmark can be done by @Skooa
We can also have a featured article and image that match our Christmas theme
Administrators can preview themes and share what they look like here
Oh crap I forgot I have more CotW things to write out.
So i just want to let people know that Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 Arcade Edition already came out long ago there are videos of it and sites to buy it like on here https://www.segaarcade.us.com/games/mario-and-sonic-2020.html
But yeah this game was out for a long time and nobody even know it like it is on the coming soon on the wikia and it is strange since nobody even bother to search for it so yeah i just want to let everyone know that it had already came out long time ago.
I would like to request "Males" be renamed to "Male characters" and "Females" be renamed to "Female characters". I feel the current naming is rather outdated and reductive.
Some examples of other wikis that follow this:
https://mario.fandom.com/wiki/Category:Male_characters
https://castlevania.fandom.com/wiki/Category:Male_Characters
https://kirby.fandom.com/wiki/Category:Male_characters
https://spyro.fandom.com/wiki/Category:Male_Characters
Is there an estimate on when I can look up articles on the wiki app again? I hate tapping on an article and it says that it's not available
ALSO DONT ONLY IGNORE THIS ADMINS 🤬🤬🤬
Someone on this wiki thinks its funny takeing away all of my posts...even Sonic related stuff
🤬🤬🤬
Yo what's up with the wiki app? I can't get any articles to pop up
Hey guys! As you may have noticed from the banners that have been displayed at the top of the site for a while now, the wiki has finally been migrated to the Unified Community Platform, or UCP. I'll link you to the Help page with more info here if you're curious, but the most important thing to take note of is that MediaWiki (the software which most wikis run on) has been upgraded to a much more recent version, and as a result, some things on the wiki have broken. It's to be somewhat expected, as this was a rather large undertaking.
Many people on the wiki's Discord server have already pointed out various issues they've found, so I figured it'd be best to make a thread to document anything people stumble across, and so that they can in turn check and see if we know about it yet. So far, we're aware of the following:
CSS and JavaScript in some places is broken to a degree. As a result, some sections of pages (such as Polls on the main page, or the DiscordIntegrator that shows up in the sidebar on various places) have been temporarily removed.
Some special pages are gone, causing problems elsewhere.
Some categories have been seen popping up in places they don't belong in, though this may have been isolated to the main page.
Thumbnail images for some articles are broken (known issue by Fandom, it's being worked on).
Please keep in mind that a number of these issues are out of our individual control, and may require waiting for the scripts we used to be updated by their developers, or on fixes from Fandom. This list will be updated when applicable.
Hi wiki users! Since FANDOM has updated the piece of software we work on from 1.19 to 1.33, some of the user-developed scripts we had been using for a while have broken. This includes the CodeLoad script we used in order to provide a list of scripts one can enable for themselves only (apart from other users).
However, months ago I had contacted FANDOM about enabling the Gadget extension for us in case we needed it (But at that time, the extension was going to be deprecated until the decision to upgrade the software came out, so I didn't implement it). Luckily enough, this request of mine proved, by sheer coincidence, very useful in our current situation.
The Gadget extension comes for free with the MediaWiki software we had operated on and also on the new software though updated. It provides the main benefits that the CodeLoad script gave, an admin-supplied list of useful scripts for the user to enable for personal use. And since FANDOM has declared that it is going to continue to update the platform from now on, we should have no fear about the future of the Gadget extension.
Even though the Gadget extension is provided by MediaWiki (Neither FANDOM nor dev wiki developers have anything to do with keeping its core code up to date, but Wikimedia engineers), the list of scripts provided here are from dev wiki, as was the case before, and so the scripts that the folks there couldn't change to accommodate the new platform will remain broken. That's why I'm only providing working scripts in the Gadgets list, not all the scripts that were imported using CodeLoad.
To enable gadgets for yourself, click on the "My preferences" link present in the drop-down of your avatar icon, then activate the Gadgets tab located in the corresponding page to the link to see a list of the available scripts for you.
Is anyone else having trouble opening articles? Every time I try to open one it says "article not found"
The Sonic Wiki has been transferred to the UCP platform for wikis on Fandom. What do you think of it so far?
I was expecting the New links on the wiki navigation to break. It didn't.
Anyone else having trouble logging into Wikia/FANDOM/whatever it's called of late? The rest of SNN is fine but whenever I tried to log in it took ages and was mostly 503's.
It's time to make SNN's Halloween theme again!
Last year, we re-used the pumpkin hill theme. This year we can do another haunted stage, like Haunted Castle, Mystic Mansion, or Hang Castle. You can look at the haunted theme article for some ideas: https://sonic.fandom.com/wiki/Haunted_theme. Of course it doesn't have to be based around a stage. Feel free to express your ideas so we can make a great theme this year!
Here are some important things to remember:
Our theme should be implemented on October 1st, 00:00 UTC. This is not a hard deadline, but we should aim to have it ready by this time. The wiki's theme will revert to normal on November 2nd, 00:00 UTC.
The wiki's background file size is 1900 x 1000
The Community header background file should be 471 x 115 or lower
The wiki's wordmark can be done by @Skooa
We can also have a featured article and image that match our Halloween theme
Administrators can preview themes and share what they look like here
Is there an existing page about this obstacle?
If not, should the wiki add it?

Hi. I was part-way into making the transcript for The ART of destruction. While watching the Youtube video, I stumbled across this image which clearly looks like the play button is the wrong way round. After seeing that it's giving me the impression that all the images I've uploaded last year are inverted, and therefore needs to be corrected. Believing that Underground galleries aren't viewed regularly unlike other articles, I hope this seemingly tedious task isn't too crucial. What do you think?
Sonic X has been dead for over a decade.
I am suggesting we start a program that promotes editing certain parts of our wiki. Each project would last three months, so 4 a year. During that time, a thread would be the center of our discussion. Here users can share progress and info related to the project and ask questions. A page would keep track of progress and tasks in the project. It would be “Sonic News Network:Seasonal projects”.
The community corner would keep people up to date with the project and direct people to high-priority tasks. In addition, updates and calls for editors would be posted on our twitter, discord, and r/sonicthehedgehog. We could also make a discord channel just for project discussion.
What makes this different from a normal editing project is this calls for all editors of the wiki to help out and uses our resources to inform and recruit people about it. The more people are involved, the more will be done in this project and the better our articles will be. I have no doubt that if we implement this, our articles will be better because of it.
We have plenty of places that can use improvement as well. My first suggestion would be the Sonic Underground continuity. It has plenty of information, yet our articles about it are very bare. If we made completely thorough episode articles, then every other page related to it could be improved (since everything about the show is from the episodes). We can also name these projects so they get more attention. “Project:Underground” sounds very cool.
Please reply with your support and ideas. I really want to hear how we can make this an effective program.
