So I’m working on some sonic comics, one of them is team Rocket vs shadow, what are some tips on writing him? No he’s not going to be an antagonist unless it’s your opinion of an antagonist. I’m accepting advice because I want to become a good story writer
@Myself 123 There are many heroes who are parents but it wouldn’t work with sonic because he’s a care free individual. Also my phrase is just another way of saying sonic should stay single
@Myself 123 It’s true. sonic and shadow don’t even talk to each other besides doing work compared to knuckles, tails, and others.

And plus, the only times they ever talk to each other is when they’re working to get something done. They don’t hang out. It’s obvious they shouldn’t be friends and if they were it would ruin the point of the series

Shadow has done many things that could be considered evil, and made many mistakes like in idw and boom. But there’s an excuse for all of them. So, what could shadow do for you to stop liking him? Where does the line cross? This isn’t a hate post I’m just wondering.
It is the shadow you know he just hides his true colors 90% of the time

Just a sad tragic backstory of my echidna character who has hidden their name and identity. Once upon a time there was an echidna. He lived with his mom and dad.
His father warned him about the ultimate life form. They didn’t know exactly who the ultimate life form was. All they knew was that he was cruel, ruthless, and mean.
One day shadow was working with eggman. Eggman told shadow about his mission that he needed him to do. He told him that the echidna family were a world level threat even though they were innocent. Shadow listened and then afterwards he immediately started searching for the family.
Shadow searched high and low for the echidna family. After searching for a while, he found them except the echidna kid wasn’t there. It was just his mom and dad. Shadow said he’d immediately destroy them.
The echidna mom and dad begged for their lives. They wanted to stay alive with their son. They said they’d do anything to stay alive but shadow didn’t care. Shadow immediately destroyed them as if they were nothing.
A while later the echidna kid came back from playing with his friends. When he arrived home, all he saw left were parts of his mom and dad’s accessory. He was confused and he called out for his parents but he didn’t get an answer. He looked everywhere and couldn’t find them. Eventually he came to the conclusion that they were hunted down by the ultimate life form.
Later on, he created a mask that portrayed the ultimate life form and he put it on. He wanted to hide his identity so he couldn’t be hunt down like his parents were. He also never told anyone his name. He promised himself that he would avenge his parents for how they were wrongfully killed by the ultimate life form. Years later, he’s finally older and now and stronger. He still plans to keep his promise.
