In the End as an example is just about failure in general. It can be interpreted as about a relationship but that isn't made clear if you know what I'm saying

And IDW really doesn't have an ending in mind, it's supposed to be for the long run like Archie. If IDW loses the rights like Archie did then they'll probably write up an ending then like they did with Archie

@DaveMan1000 Just because the events of a comic did or didn't matter in the long run doesn't change how good it is. It may hurt the ending, but the events still happened, and they were still written and illustrated. Our outlook on creative stuff differs a lot and so this isn't really a fair conversation - you care more about in-universe effects while I tend to focus more on how well the creators did when making it in a vacuum. It makes sense, I come from a music-reviewing world where that's the main focus

This seems more to me like "IDW shouldn't be canon" then IDW is bad. And I agree, but also, Archie overall had Ken Penders for almost a hundred issues, and IDW didn't. You can make a case for lackluster IDW writing but I guarantee you it won't be as bad.

And Late Archie is very good. We can all agree with that

Also, even Late Archie drawings are much worse than any art in IDW. There was a massive step up there that you're downplaying imo.

Yeah exactly. It’s not hard to believe that echidnas in the Sonic universes have a sort of standard anatomy that’s shared by all Mobians. It’s not like different Mobians can’t interbreed or anything

Like I do get where you're coming from I don't know if Rouge should be 'sexy' but I do think she should sound flirtatious/mature more than cute because that's what her personality was supposed to be
