I also think this ship is kinda eh in my opinion because Amy and Shadow barely have any moments together in canon and it just feels like a forced bad boy x nice girl thing. It would be out of character for Amy to not like Sonic anymore and suddenly start liking Shadow.
Whoever killed him might get group jumped by the power of friendship. Amy, Tails and Knuckles will definitely not be very happy.
