I don't understand, anytime i try to open the link, on discord, it takes me to the sonic discord community i already follow?
Oh my! I thought the fact he's using a magical sacred sword actually buffed him a fair amount, but the reality does make sense :/
Nooo, I misclicked, I want to erase big and froggy
@Sonic ultra Can u send me a link for the official server? I tried searching for it, but nothing "official" popped up :/
And yes, I know sir Gawain is a separate character on his own, I just choose to refer to him as a form in this poll, that's it

^ and ^^ Lol
Also, yh happy bday bro
If he tried...?
@Mystic Monkey Np, mine is on PC/mobile(tablet would be best) title, thanks for telling me
Wait, u can present games to SEGA for marketing?!
How do u copyright a fanmade game?... Or module?
And gl with that, hope u do consider the Collab ✨
@Mystic Monkey I don't want to make any actual money from this, that's why it's fanmade, I'm making it for fun, but the currency system will probably be necessary for the games system of getting cards :P
@ElectroKyurem Thanks for understanding that I actually am, ngl, Sonic Blitz gameplay looked boring to me(even though it's just the technical version, and it will probably be better during global release), that's what game me the desire to make this game, I already have a friend who's agreed to help with the art of the characters, so it is possible now ✨
Opt. 1:I'm not making a TCG, it's a card battle game, and not all the cards are available as u start the game, actually, I'm thinking of adding currency in the game, ofc there will be no in-game purchases, but I think that might cause some problems for me in the release :/
Opt. 2: Exactly, a currency system in the game will give the cards actual value, the only thing is this game won't really be fun for those that like to "buy" their progression in games. e.g stuff like the booster pack u were talking about
Opt. 3: I don't fully get what these "Experiences" do by allowing the purchase of in-game currency with real money, basically, the sonic tokens u mentioned is pretty much the idea of the currency system I have in mind for the game.
@Mystic Monkey (This is responding to the second comment u made)
Actually, Low grade characters can become high grade if they have another form. For example, if Sonic's rarity is common from the start of the match, when he gets all 7 chaos Emeralds and turns into Super Sonic, his rarity will change to uncommon/rare (depending on how I arrange the rarity level), ofc this doesn't apply to all characters, whether they have other forms or not. E.g. if silver is super rare and he turns into Super Silver, his rarity can remain the same. It's basically determined by the developer(s) of the game(which is me and any other)
I don't really know Yu-Gi-Oh, both the game and anime, so I don't fully understand what you're trying to say(even though I know this comment isn't directed at me :P )
The number of cards a player can have on a deck will have a limit, but ngl I haven't played a card game at all, which is why I'm confused about the purpose of deck shuffling, but I have watched gameplay of card games(mostly from cartoons, e.g. adventure time), so I have an idea of playstyle and a bit of others
Yh, the system of selling and trading cards sounds interesting actually. Selling a card to gain the in-game currency sounds reasonable, but trading cards would involve two ppl at least, infact I plan on making it possible to trade cards(item cards actually) mid-battle, and I do have a reason why I want to make that possible that.
Wait, u can upload fan games on Roblox? Don't I have to make it in the Robloxy skin or design for it to be on Roblox? Idk, never played Roblox actually ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
But the fact that the companies can shut down fanmade games means that opt. 2 & 3 are kinda similar, only thing is being is opt. 3 allows players to spend real money for in-game benefits, which I still feel is worrying for me trying not to step on any legal documents by making this "card battle" game.
(To the 3rd comment/last comment u made)
I don't think I can make new variants of the og characters, in this game, each character has a their own set of skills, and if they are more variants of those og characters, that would mean a variation in their skills as well, and that would need a lot of brainstorming to make up new variants and their skill😵., and I can't use the ones in sonic forces, it would feel like I'm over using their ideas(even though I plan on using at least 50+ characters in this game[btw, the 50+ include forms and official variants of characters, and a few from Archie and IDW. e.g. Chaos shadow, and Sir Lancelot are going to be from the same character, Shadow, but they will be counted as separate characters in the game description 🙃]).
Exactly, the advantage or skill(s) u get in battle for having a valuable card scales with how hard it is to get that card, I thought that's how it's supposed to be :/, and ofc, op cards can't one tap other cards, this game is based on strategy and is going to be full of conditions to use a powerful skill or enter an powerful form
@ElectroKyurem (This answers the second comment u made)
Wdym by in the "traditional sense"? It will be singleplayer, at the start, but if this game has enough players after full release, I'll probably implement online play, where u can battle with other players, both LAN and globally. It will be a bit hard to get "any" card the player wants, if all was at their access, it wouldn't be so fun and the cards won't have much value, being all the same even though all their rarities varies :/.
Actually now that I think about it, it would need a large(fairly sized actually, like a desktop or tablet sized) for the number of cards that are going to be on screen. So, in this game, there will be matches and in these 1v1 matches(It's only going to be 1v1s actually) each player can have up to 8 playable cards on deck(this is just a draft idea I came up with, it can be changed during the games development), where each player has 3 or 4 turns(another draft idea, however I'll explain why it's this number) where they can either play any card they have on the 'deck'(did I use that right?), or draw an item card, or draw an attack card. Item cards(e.g. Chaos Emeralds and other items) are used to boost a character in battle(or even change form, depending on the character), they can even unlock or change a set of abilities/attacks(again, depending on the character, and the item in question). While attack cards are cards that adds a new ability/attack to a "specific character". Attack cards are specific, e.g. if there's an attack card named "Chaos Blast", u cannot equip this attack card to sonic or silver, but instead shadow. All attack cards are added to the default set of attacks/abilities a character card has(each character card has 3 attacks/abilities by default[again, another draft idea]). And obviously, u win by defeating all your opponents cards and still having at least one card on deck. Achievement systems can also be added to this like, "Winning a battle with at least 4 character cards remaining" and stuff like that.
Ofc, it makes a little more sense to u, but the more u know, the more questions u have, and one or two things I said above may not make total sense, but I have a vivid mental image of the game mechanics and system.
^ what I meant was that's terrible!😅
^Probably, but mine isn't a TCG, it's a battle card game actually
@Mystic Monkey All right, and wow, you're RPBG cards looks great actually, makes me have a better me tal image of how I wanr my cards to look like(but I ain't stealing you're idea btw, it actually helps✨). And I think the cards will have value if it's hard to get them that is
💀
