People are the exact same way in the South Park fandom ships.

They say popular ships, particularly gay ships, get fetishized a lot. They exaggerate their personalities and make weird things with them, to the point of it looking no longer wholesome or sweet and looking more strange and questionable at best. And these kind of fans of the ships can be quite toxic, too. There's a particular ship in South Park that I have a dislike for, but not because of the ship itself, but how people portray it ( and how the fans act ).

If people ship Sonadow in a normalized way that's not in any of the ways listed above, then it's completely fine with me. That can be said with any ship for me, really.

I feel like gay ships in media are the victim of this kind of stuff, the stuff listed in that image, and I think that's kinda sad, really. Not saying hetro ships aren't like that too, but I feel like it's worse with gay ships.

Boys are allowed to wear any type of clothing they want, just likes girls.

Some boys like to wear feminine clothing, and that's okay. Personally, I think boys look nice in feminine clothing, just as pretty as girls do.

Sure, there was that point where it was supposed to be "humorous" to see males in female clothing and it was only a simple joke, nothing more, nothing less. But as this generation becomes more woke for better or for worse, a lot of people are starting to see that as less of a joke now, especially to those who are having gender crisis.

When I was a fan of this series, my favorite used to be Tails.

Tails is still my go-to choice whenever he is playable.
