As long as the term "Badass" is not considered a curse, I'm okay with this.
Supersonic414 is correct, they don't die easily. 'Cause, like it or not, writers will always find a way to bring them back when plot demands it.
Not really, since this Thread has something to do with the Sonic games and characters.
Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2 were one my favorite 3D Sonic games. They had the most incredible feel to those games, mostly the storyline. I wondered why they have not gone towards that way of writing again seeing how popular those games are.
They were seriously dark, people (and Chao) were dying and Adventure 2 went straight into horror territory in the last story. I'm currently hoping they'll dip into a little Lovecraft mythos type of villain soon.
I don't mind it... well sort of I do but really, its just one of those many things that I like to speak out about.
He was presumed dead, but given how he's the "Ultimate Life Form" I'm leaning towards Shadow being truly immortal rather than simply enhanced longevity. Otherwise, Omega wouldn't have to capture him = he would just kill him... but he didn't because he couldn't.
Imagine Shadow and Sonic having... you know, in literature form.
Shadow can't die though, he's immortal = unkillable.
How? It's not like he'd be dead permanently. Lots of heroes get killed off to spice up the audience, Sonic is no exception.
This isn't a blog.
The reason behind Mephisto and Iblis' possible idea of survival is merely that of a multiverse theory. Since they are beings of time and space, Mephisto can very well hop from one alternate timeline to another; universe to universe. This is plausible as it would explain how he would be able to summon a whole army of Mephistos, they are all him from alternate timelines.
So, it's not exactly about whether they are alive or not; it is more about whether we'll see them again in a different form or not. As while they may have died in the main Sonic Universe, despite the reset, they could have survived in a parellel universe (Sonic Boom for example).
If you ask why he hasn't tried again in destroying the universe, it is possible that there are alternate timelines where Mephisto reformed or was never evil in the first place and currently battle the evil versions of Mephisto. This can be the same with Iblis.
Personally, I consider that battle with Solaris as being held in a pocket dimension rather than the actual destruction of the timestream because as in a realistic sense and even a widely accepted sense: that would be impossible as there are so many timelines and universes, universes such as the Archie comic series, that would have to be involved in such a battle. Meaning we would/should have seen a whole army of superpowered hedgehogs from those universes for that final boss, we DIDN'T see any besides the ones featured already in the game itself.
I still say the new chatroom should have less strict rules for the older audience. Please keep in mind that the rules can be merely for the wikia as so many others have less strict rules than this one.
This new chatroom would allow us to be like them and we could keep the old one for those who prefer the old rules. In other words: a compromise.
I would like to say that this is a cool idea, but I think there should be more touches to it. Like 1 for kids and 1 for older? Make them more age oriented is what I'm saying.
I still believe the word "badass" should be allowed because despite of it sounding vulgar, it is merely a title to describe someone of great physical power and stature. Therefore, it can very well be considered harmless.
People hate Sally, people hate Amy; do I hear people complaining about Mina...?
In my most honest oppinion, I truly believe Mina Mongoose was a way better love interest than Sally or Amy...
Approve. Mainly so we can avoid confusion and have seperate trivia on that page. If we were to simply have Classic Sonic content mesh with the Modern Sonic page, granted that they are indeed the same person, it would only make it harder for readers to understand the information in a clean and simple order.
