I mean, I hate trying to use it. Whenever you want to use it, it kills all your forward momentum and you’re stuck going at a slower pace. I especially hate trying to platform as Modern Sonic and I accidentally Drop Dash off of something to a lower path or down a bottomless pit.
I just think it’s pretty underwhelming and obsolete compared to Classic Sonic’s OP Spin Dash or Modern Sonic’s Boost.

It’s not that the boss is hard per se, it’s just so unbelievably tedious and it drags on forever
Like seriously. I don’t know what’s up with Superstars’ fetish for insanely tedious bosses, but THIS boss takes the cake. Fang sets up SO MANY instakills here. And it gets especially worse in Phase 2, where the Fang Mech shoots the electrowebs that immobilize you so it can get a clear cork shot on you. I never knew that would happen and had no idea on how to escape the webs on my first few tries, so I just kept dying and dying over again. I died so many times that I turned into a speed runner when playing through the Phase 1, but Phase 2 would just keep messing me up and I’d have to do it ALL OVER AGAIN. It took me 3 days to beat this stupid boss bro… I’m never ever going back to Egg Fortress again 😭
