Don't forget her Classic Sonic cutscene in the rewrite
You know this issue is so stupid and annoying when Penders of all people are right.
And the infinitely better SD Dark Gaia fight that is just Punch Out.
He did take Sega (and Bioware) to court, because of Sonic Chronicles. Because he thought the Dark Brotherhood was similar to his Dark Legion (you know, the group that kinda was, definitely based on a certain German group, which he made for the Archie (no not making that up, and people wonder why people like IDW over Archie)). He actually won that case, which is why outside of Knuckles and Knuckles Clans, you don't see any Echidnas.
Ah yes. Her character is now ruined because she is no longer the creepy love stuck stalker anymore. Something fans honestly found annoying about her since like Adventure.
Like seriously, how does this "ruin" her character?
In the opening cutscene, she still cares about Sonic (wanting to hug him, being close to him, and handing him cupcakes, honestly the change make Sonic look less mean (for lack of ability to use more adult term), since he isn't shoving hand in her face, but she still love Sonic)
And she doesn't flirt with him as hard, ok? Like she still like Sonic guys, she just isn't the creepy stalker anymore (for good reasons, because that character architect kinda sucks).
Like, the only thing we didn't like about the changes was how they didn't fully reanimated the cutscene (both because Shadow's cutscene are very expressive and fluent, so it kinda makes the base cutscene kinda stiff, and because changes like this or Knuckles classic Sonic cutscene look less odd)
Well, it's possible they have plans for it.
Colours was possible done first because of it's console exclusively for years, so that would give a reason for people to buy it (plus also to test how much people would like Sonic remakes, and possibly due to third party help with BlindSquirrel.)
Generation meanwhile is noticeably has more positive reception when compared to Unleashed, so they probably thought that was the better pick to remake (people already have good faith the game will be well, and the added content would be more reason to get it)
It's possible Unleashed will get remade if they want to continue this thread, but they choose the latter two for some factors.
Just hoping this leads to a Jakks figure of him and the other Metal units
We think it would be funny if Mephiles acts like him and Shadow knows about either other, but Shadow has no clue who Mephiles is (since 06 was erased from history due to the ending)
Welcome to the world of Archie Sonic
We will say his voice is a bit off (and sounds like Uka Uka from Crash Bandicoot), but his lines are great, and the fight looks fun
