There sure are a lot of article names that come from non-English (but Sega/official nonetheless) sources. Pretty much all of the bosses from the original Sonic the Hedgehog trilogy and the 8-bit games come to mind, but this also includes enemies from the newish handheld games, some more obscure Japan-only titles, and even a manga series or two. Some wikis developed a template just for these occasions, but the Sonic News Network doesn't seem to have one - the closest would be the "conjecture" tag, but that doesn't quite apply since an official name is in existence in another language. At the same time, there's always room for error in a fan-translation, and intentions always run the risk of getting lost in any localization especially whenever the creators are not in direct contact.
Therefore, I propose that articles resorting to titles derived from a foreign language be noted as such via similar means. It would basically say something like, "This {video game / manga series} article's name is derived from {insert language} sources because it has no official English localization. Therefore, this translation only represents a fan-approximation to an English title." In the event that there are conflicting names, then the one used first will be the one translated into English. I doubt there are many cases of this occurring in the series through a language other than Japanese, so this could be simplified further into just a Japanese language tag, as well as the media part if it might be too much.
These are just some ideas on how a foreign language tag can be worked in, but regardless I think leaving it as is could give some readers the impression that these articles only use official names from Sega's English sources. As I've mentioned such things can be misunderstood or incorrect, so I believe some sort of notification is in order. Further ideas on how to approach this topic are very welcome. Thanks for your consideration.
