Live action/CGI is a bad idea to me. Sonic characters have a cartoony appearance which will clash greatly with live actors. The alternative would be to make the Sonic characters look more realistic, but Sonic has such an iconic design, I don't think it should be messed with. I'm picturing realistic Sonic characters and it just looks terrible. <p>I feel, if anything, that the "new look" is just the artwork. I'm not noticing any differences in the character designs in recent trailers. They still look the same as they did when Sonic Boom was first announced.
