This has been on my mind for a while now and since I'm someone who doesn't find the IDW comics that appealing to me as an old Sonic Fan like myself, I am starting to think that maybe, just MAYBE, I (US) may have treated the Post-SGW era of Sonic too harshly.
Sure I hated the changes (Due to Ken Pender's lawsuits and all that other stuff), like the plot, the lore, the designs ETC. I was overly disappointed that all the old plot points and lead up to events were cancelled or altered. But when I look back on the Post-SGW, I think there were some good things I did come to enjoy from it, such as it's closer connection to the source-material. Admittedly, I was willing to give it a chance or at least time to improve before it's cancellation and move to IDW. Of course, personally, I still think it should have gone back to square one instead of confusing the timeline of events between this and the Pre-SGW era, but I don't know what else could have been done to fix it other than that.
Anyway. What are your thoughts on this?
