It's technically Sonic-related, so...
Yeah second post in short time but this question occured to me often frequently: hypothetically, if I had separately old games such as Sonic the Hedgehog CD, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and etc., or Sonic Origins/Sonic Origins Plus, would that be the same thing? I mean, are changes in Sonic Origins big enough so I would want to get it too? (again, not that I have it exactly, but I'm curious)
so i replayed sonic 2 and got the good ending and i got super sonic in hilltop act 1 and around 20 minutes later i reached metropolis and got super sonic in about a minute and IT MADE THE LEVEL REALLY GOOD!
YES, I KNOW I JUST POSTED. And accidentally deleted everything.
So, on the Sonic 2 Cabaret, there are two jingles at the start of the video. "SONIC INTRO" and "FANFARE." Now we have even more proof that the Cabaret was not made for Sonic 2, as we have this all-new information!
"SONIC INTRO" was meant for something called "Doc & Beans," which was an improv on Dr. Eggman's theme. "FANFARE" was meant for another project called "D-day pt. 1" which was never intended for a game at all! (They might be in the wrong order.)
Here's what David Javelosa said:
"other than Night Club Scene, the other two jingles were Doc & Beans, an improv on my track for Dr. Robotnik; and D-day pt.1, not really intended for a game at all!"
EDIT: New info I just found again, Doc & Beans is Track 5 of Cyber Steam Cabaret, the same album released by Javelosa that featured Night Club Scene.

Okay, hear me out
So you know how David Jaselova used to do Sonic 2, but his music was so bad that he got cut, helped for the Sega CD and then released the Sonic 2 Cabaret video?
Well, a clean version of the song featured in the Sonic 2 Cabaret is in an ALBUM released by Javelosa. Including 9 other tracks.
The famous Cabaret song is #7, by the way.
My theory is that some of these tracks are actually from the lost Sonic 2 OST composed by Javelosa.
I've only listened to a few of the tracks in this album so far, but Safety Check sounds like a good song for the future tomeline.
I'm not sure if I'm true tho; but I'm pretty confident.

I made some of these a while ago but I just decided to bridge the gaps

For me, I've noticed that in Sonic 2, Sonic wasn't responsible because of him being reckless as he is trying to be a hero, but later on the movie, he becomes more responsible. And I've noticed that it was sort of the same for Knuckles in the Knuckles show, because he was reckless in the beginning as he is trying to be a warrior. But later on, he becomes more responsible too.
Then in Sonic 3, we've seen that even though Sonic lost longclaw at a young age, he didn't let the pain change who he is in his heart, but later on he was letting the pain change who he is due to Tom getting hurt by Shadow and Sonic wanted revenge. But as Sonic was about to kill Shadow, Sonic remembers what Tom told him and realized this is not who he is.
So I hope that for a Tails project, I hope it's sort of the same for Tails. Because growing up in his village, he didn't had any friends because everyone thought his two tails were weird. But I think Tails didn't let the pain change who he is in his heart. But I hope that later on in the project, someone who Tails loves will get hurt by a villain, making Tails wanting revenge, and letting that pain change who Tails is, but as Tails is about to kill this villain, Tails will remembered that it's not who he is.
