2024 has set a pretty darn high bar for us Sonic fans, but I think we can not only look back and be proud of how much fun this year has been, but spend the future focusing on really showing our appreciation for Sonic while SEGA cooks up the next big meal 🍴

Hello SWZ and Merry Christmas!
Well, we made it—the end of 2024, which also means the end of the Year of Shadow. This year was truly a big one, so today I thought I might as well talk about all of the big things.
1. SXSG:I actually have a copy of the game now!
And honestly, this is THE big thing of the year next to Sonic 3. I will make a review of how I like this remaster soon, though.
2. Sonic the Hedgehog 3:THIS was peak for me this year.
Ranking all the movies I watched this year:
Sonic 3 & The Wild Robot
Inside Out 2
The Garfield Movie
Sonic 3 was one of the best things that came out this year. The animation was better, the voice acting was on point, and the story was just the best thing that happened.
3. Promotions:We got three new admins this year, starting with burgerguyforever (who I consider a friend of mine), herosquad, and Mresc. We also have Shikimelover and makyzi143 as new content mods, and artistkeyframe as a new discussion moderator. Congratulations to all of you!
4. Knuckles (2024 show):I mean... ehh... I need to watch it, maybe.
Well, that's it. If some parts aren't related enough to the wiki, mods, please delete them.

Welp, Christmas is coming up two days, so for this special occasion, why not doing anything related to Sonic and Christmas alike, by thinking which fanmade Sonic Christmas projects (either animations or comics) are the best or the worst? But, here are the rules before getting started this:
Think of the unofficial Sonic adaptations by the fans, not official adaptations (e.g. Sonic Christmas Blast)
This is meant for entertainment purposes, not to attack the creators and anyone who either love or hate any fan work of theirs that are not yours. Also your opinions and criticisms needs to be valid and constructive. It’s fine to either like or dislike whatever in your personal opinion, as long you need to respect others’ opinions. Because we are not gonna create dramas here.
Please also remember, porn/fetish Sonic fan contents are not allowed in this post, even you find them worst understandably.
As this topic, only think of any Sonic fan stuff sets either around Christmas or winter, never add any non-Christmas stuff here (unless if they have anything that are associated with Christmas like toys and polar animals for example).
You could make tier list each projects on which is best or worst. Or here is something else what you could do; make a Nice and Naughty Tier List. Nice = the best, Naughty = the worst.

It has been here for so long and it's annoying. I couldn't normally publish my drawing with Tails. And this is literally the only wiki that has this limit. I mean, Hazbin Hotel, The Amazing Digital Circus and other wikis doesn't have that "Wait to upload another image" thingy.
In the lead-up to the big day, the Discussion Board has been miraculously devoid of any spoiler content for Sonic 3, so this is a plea to everyone reading this to keep it that way for as long as you possibly can.
There are no official rules against spoilers, but please try to hold any in for the next week. If you just flat-out have to tell the world, make sure you follow the suggestions to add a big visible "SPOILER" title and a truckload of spaces so people can scroll past without seeing 👍
Considering some theaters will be showing Sonic 3 as early as the 19th, that means we're officially a measly 7 DAYS out from our long-awaited moment, and I'm proud of all the DB users (and Paramount, frankly,) for keeping a tight lid on spoilers ✊ does it feel real to you yet chat?
With being in this wiki for almost a year I'm feeling insecure if I helps or hinders this wiki that I love so much
Please be genuine with the response, because if I doesn't help at all this wiki I will probably leave here forever

Did anyone noticed when trying to get into the wiki, it crashes and says Request Timeout?
Normally, Sonic Wiki Zone has a Halloween theme throughout October. But given Sonic X Shadow Generations will be released this 25th, we've leaned towards more in theme of the game itself than Halloween this October.
However, for the last week of October (28th Oct to 3rd Nov) we will have a Halloween week.
Me and @SilverPlays97 would like to encourage the community to submit banner designs that we could use for Halloween week. Submit your banners, then a follow up thread will vote on them to decide which will be used by the 25th.
These are the only rules:
The banner must be of this size and ratio, with PC and mobile display in mind.
Must be Halloween in theme. (The use of Haunted theme screenshots is encouraged as long as they're clear and no hud.)
You may present two banners per submission. One for Dark Theme, the other for Light Theme.
★ Submission thread (this one) will take submissions until Sunday 20th.
★ Voting thread (this one) will allow users to vote from 20th-27th.
★ Halloween Week (this one) will last from 28th of October - 3rd November.

Hello everyone, I’m Nathan—also known as Nathanthehazingdaze007—and I’m proposing to become a discussion moderator for Sonic Wiki Zone. As a moderator, I’d be able to lock, delete, edit, or restore comments and posts, helping maintain the quality and respectfulness of discussions. After reflecting on my previous proposals, I’ve made it a point to contribute more actively and maintain a polite and helpful presence in the community.
With the self-demotion of AlternateV and the increasing inactivity of Chardonnay Bloo, I feel it’s important to step up and assist with moderation. I always double-check my posts to ensure they stay respectful and avoid promoting any unnecessary conflict. I also regularly consult with current moderators like Mystic Monkey to ensure my contributions align with the community’s guidelines.
I’m particularly active during the day (6 AM to 9 PM), and during this time, I’ve been able to address rule-breaking posts that might otherwise go unnoticed. Additionally, I’ve participated in discussions about new ideas for the wiki, such as proposals for new rules and user rights. I understand the responsibilities that come with being a moderator and am fully prepared to contribute positively to the community.
My approach to moderation focuses on fostering a respectful and constructive environment. If someone is unsure whether their post breaks the rules, I’m always happy to provide guidance. In cases of minor disruptions, like rage-baiting, I believe in calmly encouraging users to avoid negativity, while enforcing the rules without coming across as overly strict or unapproachable.
Some examples of my contributions that demonstrate I’d be a great candidate for this role include:
