I decided to redraw the same opening cutscene from the first Sonic game in Sonic origins, where a teal flicky becomes dizzy after being freed from a moto bug.
I decided to redraw the opening cutscene from the STH 2 (1992) in Sonic origins where tails is being chased by the two bullies before meeting Sonic.
I decided to redraw the opening cutscene from the first Sonic game in Sonic origins where dr. Eggman is on his egg mobile.
Note:
I decided to use his modern design in this redraw.
I'm thinking of buying Sonic Origins Plus with some Christmas money, but I've already played three of the four games on it. And I hear the remasters are plagued with issues. Is it worth the money?
I needed to write this somewhere, but I had some ideas for a Sonic Origins sequel.
Now I know these ideas probably won't come true in the future, but I think it would just be some fun details to cover.
Anywho, off we go!
GAMES LIST:
So for the games, I think all the games from the original Sonic Origins should return and the Plus DLC games should also return as part of the base game, plus new games too.
Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine (Sega Genesis and Game Gear)
Knuckles' Chaotix (Sega 32X)
SegaSonic the Hedgehog (Arcade)
Sonic 3D Blast (Sega Genesis and Sega Saturn)
Sonic & Knuckles (Sega Genesis)
Sonic Blast (Game Gear)
Sonic CD (Sega CD)
Sonic Chaos (Game Gear)
Sonic Drift (Game Gear)
Sonic Drift 2 (Game Gear)
Sonic Eraser (Sega Genesis)
Sonic Labyrinth (Game Gear)
Sonic R (Sega Saturn)
Sonic Spinball (Sega Genesis and Game Gear)
Sonic the Fighters (Arcade)
Sonic the Hedgehog (Sega Genesis and Game Gear)
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Sega Genesis and Game Gear)
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (Sega Genesis)
Sonic Triple Trouble (Game Gear)
Tails Adventures (Game Gear)
Tails' Skypatrol (Game Gear)
The lock-on games from Sonic & Knuckles would also be available too.
Blue Sphere
Knuckles in Sonic 2
Sonic 3 & Knuckles
MAIN MENU:
Okay, so this one is pretty familiar, but I think the main hub world for everything in the game should be a remake of the Sonic World from Sonic Jam, since how Sonic Jam is just a compilation of 1, 2, 3, & Knuckles.
Game Room - Play any of the games listed above.
Art Gallery - Look at concept art of various Sonic characters, locations, and others.
Character House - View any of the Sonic characters' bios. You know, get to know them more for any Sonic newcomers, or you just simply want to know more about them.
Comic Book Store - Read various Sonic comics.
Movie Theater - Watch various cutscenes and commercials of various Sonic products. We can even bring back all six episodes of Sonic Mania Adventures too.
Museum - See the history of the Sonic franchise from the beginning until today.
Popcorn Shop - Basically SegaSonic Popcorn Shop, but instead of making real life popcorn, you can gamble for figurines which are hidden inside the popcorn.
Sound Test - Listen to the original soundtrack of each game plus the soundtrack of the Sonic Origins sequel. And maybe we could add more of those Sound Test easter eggs from Sonic CD, and not just the Majin Sonic secret.
FIGURINES:
After some reading about SegaSonic Popcorn Shop, I figured I at least wanted to do something with it. At first I thought "Maybe an unlockable minigame?" but then I thought bigger. Why not we make the SegaSonic Popcorn Shop a place to gamble for figurines?
The figurines would be like, little plastic toys of various Sonic characters (and maybe other SEGA characters or the SEGA consoles). Take like the trophies from the Super Smash Bros. series for example, it's basically that.
You could also collect more figurines by finding them in the anniversary modes of each game mentioned at the top of the list.
There could also be Garfield figurines as well (yes I'm joking about this one, although that would be pretty cool though).
GAME MODE DIFFERENCES:
Now I feel like some of these games should at least have a change in them, but they would only affect the anniversary editions, while the classic editions would keep their original versions.
SegaSonic the Hedgehog - Full English translation in Anniversary Mode / Original Japanese language in Classic Mode.
Sonic CD - 2011 remake in Anniversary Mode. / Original 1993 release in Classic Mode. Will also have the option for you to choose either the JP or US soundtrack.
Sonic R - Better controls in Anniversary Mode. / Original controls in Classic Mode.
CHARACTERS PLAYABLE IN OTHER GAMES:
So remember that Sonic Origins Plus DLC where it made Knuckles playable in Sonic CD and Amy playable in both 1, 2, 3 & Knuckles, and CD? Well why not we do that again, but this time, more characters in the other games. But of course, this would only happen for the anniversary modes. Who knows, maybe some of these characters will have a different plot like, for example, playing as Dr. Robotnik in Sonic 1 would have him travel around the world to find all of the Chaos Emeralds before Sonic does so he can take over the world and yes, that kind of Robotnik stuff. See, same game, different plot.
Now look, I know I said EVERY game, but I think Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine will be the only exception since how you're technically not playing as anybody.
The characters that would be playable in every game (except Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine) in the anniversary modes would be:
Amy Rose
Bark the Polar Bear
Bean the Dynamite
Charmy Bee
Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik
Eggman Robo
Espio the Chameleon
Fang the Sniper
Feels the Rabbit
Honey the Cat
Knuckles the Echidna
Majin Sonic (I'm probably joking about this one too. But like I said that would be pretty cool though.)
Metal Knuckles
Metal Sonic
Mighty the Armadillo
Miles "Tails" Prower
Ray the Flying Squirrel
Shadow the Hedgehog (You know what, why not?)
Sonic the Hedgehog
Tails Doll
Trip the Sungazer
Vector the Crocodile
Or how about this, for the anniversary mode of Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, you can have the option to play any one of the Puyo Puyo Tetris modes. I figured maybe since how Puyo Puyo Tetris is also by SEGA, I think it wouldn't hurt to at least reference the games maybe.
OUTRO:
So yeah, that's basically it. But if you have any ideas for a Sonic Origins sequel, please tell me. I would love to hear your ideas for one.
But until then, "I'm outta here."
Can sonic still drown even if he has invincibility?
Jun Senoue used a Korg Triton (either the actual synthesizer or a VST), a Vacuum VST, and Xpand!2 to compose music for Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode I, Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode Metal, and Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode II, as well as Sonic Origins and Sonic Superstars (just the Vacuum VST and/or Xpand!2). Not to mention, he also used the Korg Triton VST and put it into a SoundFont for the WiiWare version of Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode I.
Do YOU have any of those VSTs?
Combine Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode I, Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode Metal and Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode II altogether with the cancelled Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode III and call it Sonic the Hedgehog 4 DX
Have it resemble the Mega Drive/Genesis games more with better controls, elements from Sonic the Hedgehog 1, 2. 3 & Knuckles, Adventure, Heroes. Advance, Rush, Mania, Origins, Superstars, etc. with Wisps and more stuff
Replace the Sonic the Hedgehog 4 sound effects with the sound effects from the Sonic the Hedgehog games on the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis
Make it have Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode II's physics engine (which was built from Sonic Rush's physics engine) but fixed
Make the graphics be more like Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode II, but far more detailed with everyone and everything colored outlines a la Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe
Replace the Korg Triton (EP I/M/II)/Vacuum VST/Xpand!2(EP M/II) instruments with Yamaha DX7 instruments (example: Casino Street Zone (renamed Casino City Zone)'s brass synth getting replaced with Spring Stadium Zone's melody synth)
Have a better Co-Op and VS. Mode, sound test, minigames, extras, etc.
Add settings such as Debug Mode (toggle on/off), a Game Style (options include Original which changes the game back to how it was back in 2010/2012, DX which is Sonic the Hedgehog 4 DX, and Old Mode which makes the game resemble the MD/Genesis games, complete with Yamaha YM2612+Texas Instruments SN76489 music and sound effects, with Classic Sonic, etc.), Character Layouts, etc. (a la Sonic 3 Complete), Music Percussion (Options: S1, S2, 3&K, Chaotix, 4A, 4B, 4DX), Music Style (Original, DX, Strong (which makes the music Sonic Adventure/Mania/Origins/Superstars-styled, and Refresh which is Sonic the Hedgehog 4 2020 Edition's soundtrack) Super Cancel (toggle on and off), Space Harrier Mode, Fantasy Zone Mode, Sonic Ability (3&K, CD-93, CD-96, CD-T&S, and 4DX), Graphics (Options: OG, DX which is Sonic 4DX, Old which is like the original Sonic 4 games, and Little Planet, which is detailed), Aspect Ratio (16:9, 21:9, 4:3 and 10:7), and Motion Blur (on/off)
Have better and smoother level design and gameplay as well as a better story and deeper lore
Have Be'en, Kalow, Mirage Island, etc. be CANON
Make Sonic go faster and add more momentum
Have better running animations that resemble the MD/GEN games more
Add more characters including Big the Cat, Honey the Cat, Silver the Hedgehog, Chao, etc. and have it take place after every Sonic game as well as adding more Easter eggs, adding costumes (e.g. Feels the Rabbit, skins, and a Sonic meme to be referenced
Add animated cutscenes as well as more in-game cutscenes
Release it on November 15, 2026 on various platforms, commemorating Sonic the Hedgehog's 35th anniversary
Improve the game's soundtrack by making it longer (just like the Bouncy Glow's Music Room extensions) and not using game music-accurate MIDI/mid files as well as having the MacOS X and iOS version using the iOS/beta version of Casino City Zone's second act's music

Sonic Origins but better. Basically it has an anniversary mode with a drop dash, insta-sheld, spindash, but you can change in the settings, you can play as sonic, tails, knuckles, mighty, ray, amy, and metal sonic, and in normal mode, you can play Sonic 1 without the spindash! Or play a hard encore mode kinda like the lost levels, with levels from game gear games(except for sky high) and even unused levels(sonic 2 was gonna have a lot of levels so the levels will be sprinkled in(except for hidden palace, wood, winter, and sand shower/dust hill) and entirely new levels with a lot of difficulty. The games are Sonic 1, Cd, 2, 3 and K(3K will be using prototype music from the new build discovered 4 years ago), Sonic Triple Trouble, Master System games, and even prototypes of games(emulated) from the genesis. If I had a name for it, it would be Sonic Origins NEXUS which is just a mix of the Original origins and Plus, even challenges would have difficulty to them like blue spheres having new levels and more. But the greatest difference to the game is... more patches.
