Nintendo 3DS

Sonic Rush, Rush Adventure and 3ds Colors. This is where its at, and its all just being forgotten when it doesn’t have to be. These games ARE(at least in my opinion) the pinnacle of 2d Sonic games. Sonic Rush/Colors manages to fuse the feeling of both Modern Sonic and Classic Sonic perfectly at the same time, the music is God-tier and the level design is amazing. Go watch a gameplay of it, I’m telling yall these games are where its at.

The fact that these games are 2d would make this such a amazing port as well, I strongly believe they should really give us either a continuation or should a remaster of this game and it would fit so well with Modern fans expectation of Sonic games.

Out of all the games that I thought should be rereleased, none I think deserve one more than this series

Just a reminder that in less than half an hour it'll be impossible to buy digital versions of 3DS Sonic games, the 3D versions of Sonic 1 and 2. and all the Sonic based themes available on the console.

So apparently every big Sonic anniversary that comes every 5 years is close to or in the same year as the release of a new Nintendo console. Think about it…

1996: Sonic’s 5th and the launch of the Nintendo 64

2001: Sonic’s 10th and the launch of the Game Boy Advance and Gamecube

2006: Sonic’s 15th and the launch of the Wii

2011: Sonic’s 20th and the launch of the 3DS (and one year close to the launch of the Wii U)

2016: Sonic’s 25th and one year close to the launch of the Switch (where the anniversary games were released)

2021: Sonic’s 30th and the Switch has still yet to be retired
