I feel like we should rename it to "Mecha Sonic" or "Mecha Sonic Mark I", to keep in line with the other Mechas. I don't know whether that'd mean we change Mini Mecha (the 8-bit one) though

Edit: 8-bit Mecha has recently been referred to as Silver Sonic

How about swapping the colours of Mecha Sonic/Silver Sonic from Sonic 2 8 Bit with the colours of Mecha Sonic Mk. 2 from Sonic 3&K. So there’d be a tiny dark blue bot with orange visor and big white robot with tan muzzle and blue visor.

I feel like this guy is underrated. Kinda wish he was in another game. He Was the first Sonic Replica.

After Metal Sonic's defeat at Stardust Speedway, Dr. Eggman decided to retry his skill at making a robotic clone capable of beating Sonic. Unfortunately, all his data on Sonic's speed was destroyed in the battle at Metallic Madness, so he simply copied his look, along with the Spindash. In order to stand out from the previous attempt, he left this one unpainted, leaving him in sliver armor and extendable arms. Nicknamed "Silver Sonic" during development, his official name became "Mecha Sonic", and his model number was 0.9.

He was sent to guard Scrambled Egg Zone with a Chaos Emerald during what Eggman refers to as "The Tails Incident",(aka Sonic 2 Master System) however he failed to stand against Sonic, who easily took him out. The remains (along with his core processor)were salvaged by the doctor, intending to rebuild him to be tougher, but that would come at a major cost...
