Keanu Reeves

So now that Sonic X DC is out, it reminded me of two strange connections between the two franchises.

1. Roger Craig Smith has voiced Batman before. Keanu Reeves voiced Batman in the movie DC League of Super Pets, so both Sonic and Shadow's voice actors have voiced him.

2. Roger Craig Smith also voiced The Riddler in the LEGO games. Jim Carrey played The Riddler in the movie Batman Forever, so both Sonic and Eggman's actors have played him.

Funny, eh?

What are your thoughts on this? I’m personally very hyped to hear Keanu say “hue hue hue” on the big screen!

Personally most of them are pretty good but I think my personal favorite is Ian Hanlin Shadow and Keanu Reeves Shadow cuz they’re portrayal as Shadow is pretty good, though I think Ian Hanlin Shadow is sort of sympathetic towards Sonic when I compare him to his video game counterpart.

Today, September 2, is Keanu Reeve's birthday!

Seriously though, I don't think SEGA's ever put Nintendo to shame this much. What happened with the Mario Movie? What happened? Keanu as Shadow is literally one of the coolest casting decisions I've EVER heard of. The people at Nintendo Pictures couldn't brainstorm for two minutes?

*sigh* Sonic 3 looks really cool.
