Please don't be a Funky Kong + Flame Runner, Daisy + Mach Bike situation from Mario Kart Wii. From the previews, SEGA and Sonic Team nailed the CrossWorlds and Kart aspects, but I'm concerned about how the extreme gear will play. I've played the first Riders game but haven't played Zero Gravity or...

moving on.

With the first Riders, I enjoy using the analog stick to tilt the control to do advance shortcuts, the slipstream's boost of speed, and pulling off tricks to get an X Rank.

Based on what I've heard, Zero Gravity is a decent game, but its complaints are the trick system got removed in favor of mid-air stunts, how you drift in the game is awkward with the gravity dive, boosting being removed, etc. The other one... uhhh...

Plus, The Babylon Rouges aren't seen in any karts in the trailer, and having them in extreme gear only worries me; please allow them to race in karts, SEGA.

I hope we can have the best of both worlds, with the extreme being balanced and fun to play. If you've played Zero Gravity, I'd like to hear your perspective on it. What did you think of the extreme gear in it? Also, I want to hear if anyone has played Mario & Sonic's Dream Racing event in Tokyo 2020 involving the extreme gear. It might play similar to that in CrossWorlds.

Is it me or do the speed-type characters significantly resemble Sonic often?

Of course excluding characters who were supposed to look like Sonic such as Metal and Shadow, but the other characters

Amy is a hedgehog and her attire color matches Sonic, Blaze as a speedster also has high heels that heavily resemble Sonics shoes, and Jet is also another one of Sonic’s rivals in speed and his mohawk looks a lot like Sonics hair. Which I thought was a coincidence but then I noticed that Espio, another speed-type also resembles Sonic

Okay, it might just be me, but I don't get why MSN wants me to think Jet and Maria are "obscure" Sonic characters.
