So, she first drew the group somewhere in the 90s and they looked like this.
Jade and Emerald look pretty much the same, save for Emerald's incredibly long tail. Ruby is wearing a handkerchief and has red ears, Crystal is wearing a belt, and Sapphire is wearing a lot of pink and has different wings. Expect a lot of redesigns for Sapphire. Everyone also has black pupils.
Somewhere in the 2000s, the Jewel Carriers got a redesign.
Ruby now wears a jacket and no longer has red ears, Crystal ditches the belt in favor of a white shirt and a purple skirt, the horns on Emerald's head are longer, and Sapphire now wears a white shirt, a pink skirt, a tie, white socks, and black shoes. They all now have differently colored pupils; Jade's are light green, Ruby's are red, Emerald's are green, Crystal's are light blue, and Sapphire's are dark blue.
In the 2010s, almost everyone remained the same with one exception.
Sapphire went through another redesign, now sporting pink pants and a pink headband instead of a bow. Her shoes are also different, now resembling heels and she no longer wears socks.
Then, in 2021 I believe, Sapphire went through yet ANOTHER redesign.
It's not too far off from her previous incarnation, although her headband is now black instead of pink.
Final thoughts: this honestly reminds me of the design changes between the Mario cast and the Bendy cast, as they too went through various design changes. Overall, I think it's pretty cool how this group of characters who Jennifer Hernandez created went through a lot of design changes.

It was also on Twitter that I discovered what Jewel's favorite food is. In his November 2020 BumbleKast, Ian Flynn said Jewel's favorite food is double sauce chicken wings (now I'm hungry)

I found this image on DeviantArt under a profile named, "askCrystaltheCat" (yes really) and I was wondering if Jennifer Hernandez drew this. If you look at the account I listed above, you'll see that their gallery consists of artwork by Jennifer Hernandez, which is why I think she drew it.
