(Yeah I know Infinite never time traveled but we know that the Phantom Ruby had time powers so you can imagine Infinite has some control over time.)

The idea about "infinite want to borrow someone money" was inspired by @Iexsist18 (also, I just forgot to put "meanwhile" on the 3rd image)
After so long, I've finally completed a 20 minute long mashup. This time, the base song is "Infinite" from Sonic Forces, and i mashed up 30 other songs from none other than Linkin Park (except for one which is Mike Shinoda). Hope you all enjoy!
Order: Infinite -> Papercut -> Heavy -> Talking To Myself -> Lost -> Don't Stay -> Hit The Floor -> Guilty All The Same -> The Emptiness Machine -> Faint -> Infinite (Breakdown) -> One Step Closer -> By Myself -> Figure.09 -> Massive -> QWERTY -> Given Up -> Two Faced -> Casualty -> Keys To The Kingdom -> Heavy Is The Crown -> IGYEIH -> Prayers (Mike Shinoda) -> VICTIMIZED -> Wastelands -> Overflow -> One More Light -> My December -> In The End (w/ a custom-made breakdown 😏) -> Good Things Go -> Bleed It Out -> One Step Closer (Live At Milton Keynes)
If Infinite was the main villain of Frontiers instead of The End, would he have been a better character?
Recently I got into an argument about whether Infinite is a more complex character than he's shown to be in Sonic Forces. @DKCfan10 invited me to explain why I think he's "more than just an egotistical loser". The original thread was locked, so I'm posting my reply as its own topic.
Truth be told, I don't have much proof beyond my own interpretation. The way I see it, Infinite's breakdown wasn't just from losing to Shadow. It was more specifically from being too weak to save or even just avenge his teammates. I know it's mostly conjecture, but if people can jump through hoops to justify Mephiles' plot being so complicated then I'm not doing anything wrong.
The other reason is more of a personal thing. I need Infinite to be more complex, otherwise he's no better than Eggman! How am I supposed to justify liking him if he's just a lesser version of my least favorite character? So I convince myself he's not just a petty egotist, that everyone else is wrong and just doesn't understand. It might not be 100% rational, but with my autism sometimes I have to take what I can get.
I can't force any of you to agree with my points, but I don't think it's unreasonable of me to ask for validation. If you have any counterpoints, I ask that you be considerate. Thanks for your time.
So I'm sure this has been on quite a lot of people's minds but, personally, would you like to see infinite return to the series. Sonic Team could bring him back without even needing to explain it in-game (maybe tie-in comic).

I could beat the crap outta infinite
(that's it, that's the hear me out)
No i'm not joking
Number 1: You can't use super sonic in the last boss fight
Like, COME ON DUDE, YOU CAN'T TELL ME YOUR NOT GONNA GO SUPER ON ONE OF THE DEADLIEST VILLAINS INTRODUCED BESIDES METAL SONIC, YOU'RE GONNA TELL ME "Oh, Sonic and the Rookie won using the power of friendship" THAT'S BULL CRAP!
Number 2: Episode Shadow being hella short and boring
WHY CAN'T I USE CHAOS SPEAR OR BETTER YET, CHAOS CONTROL?! THEY LITERALLY JUST TRASHED MY G.O.A.T TO MAKE INFINITE LOOK ALL HIGH AND MIGHTY, BRO LOST TO THE POWER OF (quack)ING FRIENDSHIP, (quack)ING FRIENDSHIP! THE LEAST YOU COULD DO IS TELL US WHERE SHADOW WAS THESE FEW MONTHS THE WAR WAS GOING ON! Shadow should've just finished him off while had the chance bro... this is why the ending needs to be rewritten
