I'm fine with it as it's refreshing to hear an Irish accent amongst a sea of American & Canadian accents.
Plus, the franchise doesn't have much European English representation outside of him, Tim Curry, Long John Baldry, Idris Elba & Peter Cormican.
If he wants it, then the official title should be “SHADOW & KNUCKLES THE FLAMES OF DISASTER” with the 1st episode being “Shadow & Knuckles”.
In that (mostly) terrible Paramount show, Knuckles used the Flames of Disaster. I was super confused because that's the name of Iblis from Sonic 06, and why would they ever do a callback to Sonic 06?
Then it hit me. Knuckles is voiced by Idris Elba.
Idris? Iblis?

Paramount Pictures is producing the Knuckles TV series, but it isn't a film. Sad it's not Paramount Television Studios
Prediction on what the opening logos will be for KNUCKLES (2024)
Paramount Pictures: Same as Sonic the Hedgehog 2, but the fanfare is now the 2011 Paramount Pictures fanfare.
SEGA Sammy Group: Due to the Paramount logo now using it's main fanfare. The logo now has a entirely new fanfare, being just audio from the SEGA games before finally landing on the 2017 SEGA jingle.
Original Film: The logo now fades in and fades out, and uses it's original colors now.
