Decided to make a compilation of Knuckles trying to say Eggman Nega’s full name but it was interrupted by Sonic, Tails, and even Amy.
I guess that explains why we haven’t gotten a new Mario and Sonic Olympic Games because of obvious reasons, credit goes to Sonic Discord Server for the videos
Eggman Nega’s Use of His Name
Eggman Nega chooses to use the name "Eggman" instead of "Robotnik" as a deliberate decision. The name "Eggman" was originally an insult, given by Sonic to Dr. Eggman, and by adopting this name, Eggman Nega is intentionally mocking Eggman. By calling himself "Eggman," he’s using a name that was meant to ridicule, showing that he doesn’t care about the name’s negative connotations. Instead, he uses it as a way to prove that he’s superior, despite the insult it originally carried. His decision is rooted in pride, turning something meant to be demeaning into a tool of his own power.
Eggman Nega avoids using the name "Robotnik" because it’s too closely tied to Gerald Robotnik, a figure with whom Nega doesn’t want to be associated. Gerald represents a more emotional, tragic legacy, and by not using the name "Robotnik," Eggman Nega distances himself from Gerald's heritage and the emotional baggage that comes with it. He doesn’t want to be connected to Gerald's past or be seen as someone following in those footsteps.
By adding "Nega" to his name, Eggman Nega emphasizes that he is the negative counterpart, showing that while he shares the name Eggman, he is completely different in his intentions and actions. The "Nega" represents his identity as the opposite—his darker, more powerful persona that contrasts with what Eggman stands for.
Eggman Nega’s use of the title "Dr." also plays a role in his name choice. Although Eggman and Gerald held the title of Doctor, Nega uses it to claim the title in a way that reflects his own superiority. By calling himself Dr. Eggman Nega, he shows that he’s not just following the path of Eggman or Gerald—he’s using their title to establish his own identity, one that is focused on his own ambition and power, rather than the legacy they left behind.

Eggman Nega’s Use of Colors and Clothing
Eggman Nega wears an outfit that deliberately uses the colors red, white, and black to mock both Dr. Eggman and Gerald Robotnik. His clothing isn’t just a reflection of his style—it’s a direct insult to the legacies of his predecessors. By sharing some of the colors that are traditionally associated with Eggman and Gerald, Nega is turning their symbolism into a twisted version of itself.
The color red is iconic to Dr. Eggman, a symbol of his villainy and flamboyant personality. Eggman Nega uses red in his clothing, but it’s darker, less playful, and more menacing. This use of red serves as an insult, showing that while Eggman’s color is bold and attention-grabbing, Nega’s red is a corrupted and sinister version, symbolizing his superiority and danger.
Gerald Robotnik often wore white, symbolizing his brilliance and his tragic, noble intentions. Eggman Nega uses white in his clothing, but in a way that strips it of its purity. His use of white is cold and detached, representing his rejection of the emotional and compassionate side of Gerald. By wearing this color, Nega mocks Gerald’s idealism, showing that he has taken the color but twisted it to fit his own darker purpose.
Nega’s prominent use of black is a clear departure from both Eggman and Gerald. Black represents chaos, control, and power—it’s a signal that Nega isn’t interested in following in their footsteps. His use of black is a statement that he’s the dark evolution of the family legacy. Where Gerald and Eggman both had their emotional and comical weaknesses, Nega has none of those vulnerabilities. Black is his way of showing that he’s stronger, more calculated, and more dangerous.
Instead of the typical glasses worn by Gerald and Eggman, Nega wears sunglasses, which gives him a more mysterious and rebellious look. The sunglasses act as a shield, hiding his emotions and making him seem more aloof and in control. By choosing sunglasses over traditional glasses, he further distances himself from the more intellectual image of Gerald and the more expressive nature of Eggman. It’s a way of saying that he’s above their emotional weaknesses, and he operates on a level that they could never reach.
Eggman Nega’s clothing isn’t just a style choice—it’s a calculated insult. By wearing the same colors as Eggman and Gerald, he’s showing that he’s fully aware of their legacies but has corrupted their colors to serve his own dark ambitions. His use of black, red, and white turns what was once a symbol of brilliance and eccentricity into something that represents chaos, power, and destruction. His clothing is a constant reminder that while he comes from the same lineage, he is the dark reflection, the one who has twisted the family legacy to his advantage.
