Candyman’s actor, Tony Todd would be perfect to play as Black Doom in Shadow The Hedgehog Movie but sadly, the actor passed away on November 2024. After hearing Black Doom’s new voice in Shadow Generations, it reminded me that it sounded like Venom from Spider-Man 2 or Zoom from Flash. Who do you think might play as Black Doom if there was ever a Shadow The Hedgehog movie? Who can do a deep voice like Candyman/Venom’s actor?
I heard about a theory from someone (I don’t know who) that the Gerald Robotnik in the movie is not the real Gerald. But instead was Black Doom in disguise.
But what happened to the real Gerald Robotnik? I think I know the answer
I think the person in this concept art is the real Gerald Robotnik
Sonic X Shadow Generations was quite possibly my GOTY for 2024, but there is one problem. Why would Black Doom:
Draw Shadow back into the location of his darkest moment (Radical Highway)
Unlock powers hidden in Shadow's Black Arms DNA hoping to complete his body as a perfect vessel for his conquest (and thus buffing the same hedgehog who killed him before)
Consistently torment Shadow over the course of several stages
At the end of all of those preparations, expect Shadow NOT to rebel against him using the powers he was given
Doom literally handed Shadow's victory to him.
Spoiler alert for Sonic 3….
Despite the different origin of Shadow of coming from a meteor instead of being made in a lab. Maybe a way to tie-in to Black Doom like he being one responsible for sending Shadow to Earth for evil purposes in first place but Maria's kindness made him forget it?
And maybe after a few films are made we have Black Doom appear as the main antagonist of the film? And who you think would be a good fit to voice him too?
So the idea is Black Doom Fuses Eclipse with the Dark Arms and "perfects" him with the same "darkness" that gave Shadow his doom power. It gives Eclipse all the Dark Arm powers and makes him stronger, faster, and heightens all his senses.
I finished the outline for the story, and I'm working on issue 1 of the 4 part one-shot. I'm going to show u guys the main art I for the first issue soon and start the ball rolling on getting this to be a collab project.
Hi, first time posting art on here, and ofc it's some weird body horror shtick... Anyway, this is one of my worst works tbh, but I still hope you like my take on a SXSG bad ending.
@BurgerGuyForever sorry for turning your senapi into some sort of weird eldritch symbiote 🙏

Saw this posted on Reddit:
Doom has no legs to stand on, and unlike Mephiles, nothing they could use to make a standing base.
The comic will be a prequel to Shadow Generations. I think I'll call it Shadow: Dark Eclipse. I'm only about halfway done with the outline, feel free to give your suggestions for replacements or additions, and ideas to help me finish the rest of course.
Issue 1-
Sonic and Tails find the Dark Arms unconscious after rescuing them from Eggman, who was attempting to transport them in an animal capsule. He and Tails bring them to Tails' lab to figure out what they are, assuming they are some mutant variant of wisp.
Meanwhile, Shadow had seen this and decides to continue his hunt for Eclipse, going to track down Eggman for information on where he found the Dark Arms, deciding to avoid getting Sonic and Tails into the situation but taking note Eclipse might go after them.
Elsewhere, somewhere near/in Westopolis, Eclipse is aiding Black Doom in regrowing his body (probably having it be through some sort of goopy plantlike substance, similar to stuff in Black Comet).
Issue 2-
Black Doom, acknowledging his regeneration is almost complete, allows Eclipse to go find the Dark Arms and bring them to Black Doom.
Shadow tracks down Eggman and gives him a brief interrogation. Eggman tells Shadow where he found the Dark Arms, in _____ Jungle (Can anyone tell me where his ship landed in his final appearance in SU #70?). When Shadow leaves Eggman, the Doctor has an Egg Flapper follow Shadow to see what he's up to. (Unfinished)
Issue 3- (unfinished)
Issue 4- (Unfinished)
Also, here's a link of one of the pages of rough art I've done so far to figure out how the style.

(make sure not to comment on that post, it's been a while)
My goal is to mainly focus on making it feel IDW, but I want it to have some reboot vibes. also, I need an inker and colorist so I can get it into digital so if anyone wants to help out with the art let me know.

So, Shadow recognised Black Doom (calling out "You!" Upon seeing Doom's Eye), but he didn't remember beating him. Gerald also goes on to say that "you must beat him at some point in the future." What does that mean? Is the "true ending" of Shadow the hedgehog set after Generations, while everything else in the game isn't? That doesn't make any sense.
So, yesterday I went on rambling about what opportunities Shadow Generations had missed, among them the potential to flash out not just Shadow, but the rest of the Black Arms, since their origin and the reason for their creation in-universe still remain vague. I wondered why Black Doom would create an entire race just to have them eat another race if he doesn't seem to care for them all that much, and why he hates humanity to the point where he plotted to enslave them for at least 2000 years...
And then it hit me. What if Black Doom isn't exactly an alien? What if he comes from Earth? I've seen a theory that Black Doom himself is a heavily mutated Ancient, and you know, that kind of lines up with what I'm thinking. Imagine, an Ancient who is entrusted to watch over the Chaos Emeralds somehow makes contact with the world beyond Starfall Islands and what would become Angel Island, witnesses life forms native to Earth, and how they destroy each other and themselves out of greed and envy. We never saw an Ancient act this way, so it's possible that such behaviour is extremely rare among them. And it's possible that the Ancient who would become Black Doom would be considered a freak by Earthlings and persecuted. So what would the guy do? With all these factors combined, it's very likely he'd become misanthropic, seeing humans and Mobians as nothing but warmongers who deserve to suffer like they made others suffer. Some Emerald-involved accident happens which twists Black Doom's body (like the other Ancients were mutated into Chao), gives him magic powers, he creates a semi-organic comet, makes it orbit around the Earth's sun, and creates an entirely new species from his DNA, makes them part of a cult involving the Chaos Emeralds which he eventually somehow loses hold of and thus needs Gerald and Shadow to rediscover - all for the sake of punishing the people of Earth he's grown to hate so much. Granted, Black Doom's own actions would make his hatred of humans extremely hypocritical, but at least this would explain why he hates them, why he created the Black Arms and where he came from himself.
Still, two issues remain: in his debut game, Black Doom seems to be unfamiliar with the concepts of either cyberspace or lightning, even though an Ancient should be aware of both, but perhaps spending millenia in space left him with some gaps in memory. Heck, maybe he doesn't even remember who he used to be before he became Black Doom.
So, does this sound legit, or is this all nonsense?
